Today's Blind Items - Teen Lust

This A- list mostly television actor struck gold with a long running network series. Since then, he has not had much luck. Apparently his behavior led to the cancellation of a show because the producers were tired of dealing with him. In his most recent series, it was canceled because he was head over heels for an actress who decidedly did not feel the same way. Our actor wouldn't stop pursuing the actress. She complained and actually quit the show before it was canceled just to avoid him. That led to the actor stalking her and showing up unannounced in front of her home and even telling her parents he could help her land other jobs. He would have gifts delivered to her house everyday. When the parents of the actress complained to the producers, they gave a warning to the actor but the actor kept right on doing it. The show was not doing that great, but it made the decision so much easier for the network to avoid any future liability on their part.

    1. Falling Skies is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series created by Robert Rodat and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The series stars Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a former history professor who becomes the second-in-command of the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment, a group of civilians and fighters fleeing Boston following an alien invasion that devastated the planet.

    3. It was awful, though not cancelled
I don't think you can "cancel" something with Spielberg's name on it even if it deserved it

    4. I'll tell you what did get cancelled. Four Taliban terrorists were vaporized in a drone strike. Dead jihadists. Dronetastic!

  3. If it is Wyle, then The Librarians is his most recent cancellation with the smokin' hot Rebecca Romijn

    1. I like her too.
Always found her kind of refreshing.

    2. And you think Noah Wyle was telling Rebecca Romijn's parents that he can help get her more work?

  4. This sounds beyond just creepy. Maybe he just needs medicated. It’s like he has some level of OCD.

  5. Sounds like the girl would be a lot younger than Rebecca Romaine Lettuce though.

  6. What about Josh Radnor with Rise being the most recent cancellation? Lots of teens on that one

    1. I think this is it.
Falling Skies is still a really weird awful show

      Could be based off this

  7. If it's Falling Skies, Scarlett Byrne played his daughter that they found in Season 4. She was killed at the end of that year and in the final season only appeared briefly as a clone or something. She was in her mid 20s though, so I don't know about her parents being that involved.

  8. I like Lurky guess. He’s had a restraining order against him from his neighbors for erratic behavior.

  9. Add "deck building" to the Big Book of CDAN Euphemisms

  10. Rise was DOA when it launched and they only shot 10 episodes. Was there time for an actress to quit before it ended?

  11. Jason Katims telling Radnor to knock it off with the Moana girl?

  12. Scott Baio, playing the dad of three teens on "See Dad Run" on Nik (or Nik at Night) for four seasons and suddenly cancelled.

  13. Gotta be Radnor.
I'm looking at his imdb and "struck gold" is right. He literally came out of nowhere to play Ted and only has 10 non-Ted credits since HIMYM *began*. He must have a bad reputation.

  14. I know some people from where Radnors originally from and I don't remember specifics but they don't seem too fond of him there. Arrogant @ss is what comes to mind

  15. I'm guessing the title of the blind means the stalker is a teen. So, not Wyle or Baio. Still don't know who it could be.

  16. Pretty sure the victim is a teen. Parents are mentioned.
Okay, I'm buying it could be Radnor, but I am still thinking it may be Scott Baio. The way the blind reads, the actor probably needs to have had at least three series. The one striking gold, and "Since then... his behavior led to the cancellation of a show because the producers were tired of dealing with him. In his most recent series, it was canceled because he was head over heels for an actress who decidedly did not feel the same way."

    1. @Apple
Radnor's PBS series Mercy Street was cancelled pretty quickly.

    2. No teens there. Just that actress who left her husband for married Ewan McGregor. Radnorvwas okay on it. Lasted two seasons.

    3. @JL, I meant that yes, Radnor fits @AppleThief's criteria of 3 series: Gold (HIMYM), producers got sick of him (MS), and teen-stalky (Rise).

  17. i've never heard of this radnor guy but i don't watch any network stuff. anyway, why not just threaten to take the restraining order route and expose him publicly? wouldn't think he'd want that if he's working on a big career. i wouldn't tolerate this bullshit if it were my daughter.

  18. ^^^ above pretty much spot on, but I would include 20-22 year old's as possible victim as well. I can see a man telling a college age girls parents he can help them get their career going.

  19. Wyle was a good guess. He's had those issues in the past. Doesn't seem to fit this blind though.

  20. lol @ middle-aged, low-T, noodle-armed, goofyass, librarian Bill Nye nerd-looking, no longer any clout-having, can't-even-make-it-onto-a-thing-anyone's-heard-of simpboy Noah Wyle thinking any young actress is gonna go couchsurfing with him

  21. Noah Wylie is married. Not to say he wouldn't cheat, but to openly stalk women on the set and in town? and Enty not mention "married actor". Nope.

    Radner fits the blind better.

  22. Ted was the least funny character on HIMYM, except for the last season where everyone was garbage, wish it would have been cancelled before that monstrosity.

  23. Radnor. Actress is Hannah James.

  24. Noooooooooo please not Noah Wyle he’s my type and I loved him in middle school and he was the reason I used to watch ER. πŸ™ŽπŸ»‍♀️ Please don’t be the stalkery type. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ€―πŸ’”

  25. There are a thousand hot women or men this man could likely have. He has OCD.

  26. Noah Wyle always struck me as a creepy fu*ker

    his eyes are dead

    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't think it's Wyle...Falling Skies isn't really "hitting gold" nor was it long running. Also, if they had so many problems with him why put him in The Librarians?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Josh Radnor - clues are Teen as in Not Another Teen Movie and Taylor Dawn Brauer

    ReplyDelete
  29. Who was the actress? Taylor Richardson? She looks like the kind of girl that a jew would be all over like white on rice.

And by that, I mean she looks like she's 12.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I always wondered why Josh Radnor didn't find the same success that everyone else had on HIMYM.

I guess now I know why. Yikes.
