  3. I hate this battle but macs are better to use. Windows just keeps getting worse and worse.

  4. Android has a good play store but the chrome browser sucks lately. I don't like Apple, and since I've used it longer than anything am more comfortable with Windows although the app store blows.

  5. Isn't Chrome a browser, not an OS?

  6. I don't like Apple's current leadership but I went Mac in 2010 and won't go back to Windows. I've used Linux/Unix in day jobs since 1995 (high tech) and it's def the best, but don't have the consumer apps of Apple (which is partially built on a Unix base!) or Windows, so... stuck with Mac.

  8. Mac would be the winner but way overpriced for most people. Yes once I did take a Windows out to a parking lot and copied the scene from Office Space.

  9. Windows for flexibility
Chrome is forced on me with my android; tried deleting and the phone stopped working, so now I keep chrome and use an ad blocker app and use duck duck go. I get truer info, not siphoned by google gods

  11. I used windows since version 3.1 (yeah I’m old) until they stopped supporting windows xp, Now Mac and my many apple devices drive me crazy at times but at least I do t worry so much about viruses and malware like before.
You just cannot win with any of them, I too would go linux but yeah...no apps to do what ia do with my device set-up currently.

  12. I have been using Windows since the dawn of the internet, it is what I am used to. Not a fan of my iPhone, husband's android is so much easier and more intuitive to use.

  15. Chrome is a wonderful system. Automatic updates, shutdown/startup in seconds, everything attached to your Google account. I love it!

  18. Had my MacBook Pro since 2011 and hasn't let me down. I don't think I'll ever go back to Windows

  19. @GeeWallyThatWouldBeWrong, I wish I could do anything on linux that I can on windows. I still prefer it but I cannot do a lot due to lack of skill with WINE and so on. I have never used Ubuntu, just kanotix, knoppix and openSuSe. It is fine for browsing.

  24. Windows 7, but when support ends it will probably be up in the air. There are (currently) just too many privacy issues with Windows 10. I'll have to set up a linux test bed to see if it is any more usable than it was ten years ago when I last tried it.
