When you are just below Footman #3 in the credits they don't even let you usually walk the red carpet, unless of course you are this foreign born mostly movie actor who had a PR team worthy of an A+ lister make people think he was the star. Look what happens when you have an A+ list singer you call your girlfriend.

ReplyDeleteWell, Joe seems to be benefiting from this "relationship" more so than many of her other "boyfriends." Good for him, he should ride that publicity train as long as he can because from what I have seen the guy totally lacks charisma. Maybe he is a good actor, I don't know, but he does not seem to be A list material. I could see him on a CW show, perhaps he should aim for that acting tier?
ReplyDeleteObviously it’s supposed to be Joe Alwyn, but I looked at the credits for The Favourite and while he is credited directly under Footman 3, the credits are listed “in order of appearance.” So none of the less stars appear at the top of the credits list (Emma Stone who plays the female lead is credited below a supporting artist playing an unnamed maid). I haven’t seen the movie so I don’t know how large JA’s role is, but his position in the credits doesn’t indicate anything on the size of his role. He is credited as playing a named character so presumably it is a substantially larger character than ‘footman 3.’
