A few years ago when this now barely legal singer was not so legal, she did the kind of thing that most teens do when they want a singing career. She would sing national anthems or perform for friends and family while also recording some songs and sending them out looking for interest. It really wasn't going anywhere at all until a friend of a family friend introduced our then 16 year old singer to this A list country singer all country fans know and most non country fans know his name. He is married, but that has never stopped him before. The guy is and was a serial cheater. Until this came out though, I had no idea he was interested in such young females though.
He invited her to his recording studio which is inside his home. The first time she came over, the wife was there and said hello and it was wholesome and apple pie. It was actually the same way the first three or four times. Yes, he would tell her that she needed to dress sexier if she wanted to be star and would suggest clothes she should wear when visiting, our singer thought it was just him trying to help.
It was after a month or six weeks of going over there that one day she went over and it was only our A list singer that was in the house. He told her he had good news and that she was going to do a little showcase for a record label. It was all because of him so what was she going to do for him to thank him. She said she didn't want to have sex with him. He said fine and she left. The next day she called him and asked about the showcase and he told her it had been canceled. When she asked why, he said it was because she had not properly thanked him. He also said that th label and all the labels would not be interested in her without his recommendation and she would be stuck doing nothing like she had before they had been introduced.
The next day and every week or so for the next 18 months, she went to his house and had sex with him. I say sex, but considering she only recently turned 18, it was rape. She did get her record deal and a manager and booking agent and is the real deal. Meanwhile, she says there is no joy in her singing like there once was and is basically just going through the motions of life right now.

Let's say Romeo just turned 19, but his gf, Juliette is 16. They can still get it on- even though one is technically a minor, and the other an adult. He can bang his high school sweetheart without fear. Past that- the "age gap" allowed (ick) can vary from state to state. (Check your local listings)
