What do you do when faced with a half empty arena that is going to require a really long drive from your comfy house and a second box of wine? If you are this former A+ list singer, you cancel the show. She has fallen so far so fast. That cuckolded ex of hers has really got his revenge.

ReplyDeleteSuch a shame, but she ruined her own career by not being willing to release albums consistently - and then, when she did release albums, she wasn't willing to promote them properly. When said albums underperformed, she'd cancel the planned tours (or would just not plan a tour all), and then would disappear for 3 more years before trying again with new material. Seems like ego issues combines with a poor work ethic to me....wine and boozing higher on the priority list?
She had an amazing voice with true potential...but taking so long to release material when your genre and fanbase is notoriously fickle is a recipe for floppage.
