This A list everything in her mind has a big movie box office bomb about to land. She doesn't care though. She is also glad she took the gig instead of a more high profile gig because it would have paid less, been more work and a lot more travel to promote. She is perfectly happy taking very large checks for making mediocre movies.

ReplyDeleteAll of these blinds & I think part of me can't take it seriously cuz the reviews are discussing "oscar worthy performance" to someone literally going by the moniker lady gaga, or the antithesis of a mature, refined stage name haha
ReplyDeleteIt’s just critics and trolls getting paid by Gaga’s camp and the movie execs to drum up hype for the movie and for her career. It’s so transparent.

ReplyDeleteGuesser, I know J Lo was outed as MV. I still think it is crap because if you listen to any of J Lo's songs, it is the same voice as her speaking voice. Do I think she had a ton of production? Yes. But her voice sounds just like when she speaks - so I roll my eyes at Enty for that "reveal".

But she cannot sing as a lead in a movie like A Star Is Born. And there is no way Cooper would have offered the role to her.

ReplyDeleteThe first JLo record doesn't sound like the later ones. Newer records sound much like autotune + voice lessons of her speaking voice. I wonder if Enty will reveal the real singer? This is the opposite of Britney,who sang on the early records and lost much of her voice.

Seems like a good-for-her situation. If I could get paid more for working at McDonalds than at a fancy sushi bar, why wouldn't I?
ReplyDeleteASIB is going to be so huge, that neither ENTY, Gaga's little monsters or Bradley's mini coopers could swing it one way or the other compared to the overall audience. i went last night to a packed house full of all demographics. and they seemed to love it.
ReplyDeleteThat series of blinds about the substitute singer were narrowed down to JLo & Brit Brit. It was revealed at one point to be Britney, but it could be either.

ReplyDeleteSo if GaGa got paid less for ASiB, does that mean that a male got paid 70% of what a woman is? So the women's movement is working!
ReplyDeleteLOOOL wasn't she offered this role back in the early 2000's? Way too much time has passed for anyone to want her to play that part, plus Beyoncé was attached to the project since at least 2010 before passing on it. No one has offered JLo that role since at least the invention of the iPhone.
