This A+ list mostly movie actor is becoming even more insufferable than usual because of the success of his latest movie. The foreign born model he calls his girlfriend is tired of being paraded like a piece of meat and his suggestions she get as close to naked as Emily Ratajkowski. She is this close to leaving this charade of a relationship.

Though I swore I would never see it, a bunch of my friends went to see "Star is Born" over last weekend and told me I was being a stick in the mud for refusing to see it, so I went with them. It brings me great angst to say that it was actually pretty good. Not Oscar-worthy, but effective entertainment and Lady Gaga acquits herself professionally. I enjoyed it as a movie-going experience.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was pretty shit overall to be honest. Surprisingly though, Gaga was okay. I've never been into these cheese-fest films though so I probably shouldn't have watched it in the first place.

It may be the most dysfunctional bearding relationship I've ever seen and that's saying a lot. He's going to have to cut a very big check at some point or it's all going up in flames.
ReplyDeleteHe is not on my favorite actor list but his performance in American Sniper was inspiring. Really looking forward to seeing Melissa McCarthy this weekend in Can You Ever Forgive me, where she plays authoress Lee Israel. The trailer is wonderful. Thankfully, the first choice for this role, Julianne Moore, dropped out. It would be like hiring Liz Taylor to play Bella Abzug! She might get an Oscar for this role. About time!

ReplyDeleteDon't wanna see it, but interested in how they've updated the story. How ingenue is beautified, how aging actor/musician says goodbye. Now it's just a vehicle for two properties and I don't feel I'd learn anything.

He has been spotted with this kid when Irina has been out of town. I don't think he would be spending time with and taking care of this child if it wasn't his.
