Blind Items Revealed #3

October 17, 2018

This A/A- list mostly television actor just returned to television after a little bit of an absence. He had been on a loooooong running network television show where he had a feud with his co-star for many years. Apparently there is already a feud with a female co-star. He is having none of it and wants her fired.

Nathan Fillion

  1. Used to be so sexy, now just sort of blobby looking. "Castle" was never that great to begin with, though all my friends liked it. A shadow of "Moonlighting." But "Firefly" one of the all-time great short runs in TV history (though "Serenity" was a disappointment).

  2. Yeah, I don't see appeal. He always plays the same type of characters.

  3. I loved him in Firefly, obvs. But he's always come across as kind of a jerk when he's out of character, which is a shame.

  4. I guess fame went to his head, back when he was starting out on One Life to Live soap opera, he was considered a good guy. He'd even go back from time to time to portray his character after he left for nighttime TV.

  5. He acts like he's never even watched Galaxy Quest.

  6. He could have been such s huge movie star after Firely
Don’t know why it never happened
Yet his old costar Ryan Reynolds went for it
Bet there’s some behind the scenes stories on that working relationship

  7. LUUUUUSTED him on OLTL where I first saw him. Although I always wondered about him. I have never seen him with a woman or tied to one, even a non celebrity. Never been married. Is he gay?? Bi??? Not that it means anything there are plenty of playas who love to stay single and play the field but just curious is all.

  8. I can't decide if I like him more in Firefly or Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog.

I'd always heard good things about how great he is at conventions and comic cons...but I guess that could be since he's paid to be nice to the fans there

  9. Oh he's dated lots of hotties Montana and he's even been engaged, not that any of that means jackshit.

  10. Knew it. He is a class A ass

  11. Disappointing, he's very good in interviews. His age is catching up with him looks wise. He seems to have issues with his female co-stars on every project, which means he's a jerk.

  12. I hope they fire his co-star. They have no chemistry together. I heard Nathan called Stana out regarding how she treated the crew early on in the series. Except for this website, Nathan gets good reviews for the way he treats his co-stars and crews.

  14. Never liked him. He was a dick to Katic. Her being ushered out and him being rewarded with a new show is everything that is wrong with all those network empty suits. You couldn't pay me to watch him in anything. Mr ego.

  15. So you're saying he's not a good pick for the Firefly reboot?

  16. Bet this was planted by Katic or someone close to her.

  17. He looks like a piece of dough, and Castle was terribly overrated. They were not Laura Holt and Remington Steele by any stretch.

  18. NF has a VERY good rep in the daytime community - and believe me, they find ways to let you know after someone has left it if they're a jerk. He's never been reported as not getting along with anybody aside from Stana, and now this. Yeah, he *could* have become an ass, but more likely he just doesn't tolerate anybody's bullshit and that's awesome.

  19. Never seen him as sexy but I did enjoy the show last night

  20. Thought The Rookie was pretty good. Husband said the cops were unrealistic, should have taken out their shotguns in a couple of scenes. Fillion is great in my book, loved seeing him as a guest on Tiffany Thiessen’s cooking show one time.

  21. This is hardly the only place Nathan Fillion gets ragged on. Datalounge, for one, has had some epic and hilarious threads about him.

I noticed that some actors don't get talked about at all, anywhere for being assholes, they have generally good reputations, like Tom Hanks. Dana Carvey. John Candy. (Sorry, I can't come up with more current names at the moment). Seems that if you do start getting talked about in a negative way, it's because there is at least a grain of truth to it.

Was never able to get into Firefly, the first episode bored me. I did love Castle, and that is in large part to really liking the entire cast. Jury is still out for me on The Rookie. I'll give it a chance, but so far it isn't grabbing me.

  22. His star rose thanks to cornball geek-bait bullshit and his new vehicle is exactly what we need right now: a clarion call to miserable old cadavers that it's never too late to become a cop.

Never bought his shtick for a second.

Forty year-old people are "miserable old cadavers?" Oh, precious, I hope your 40's hit you like a brick wall.
