Standards have shrunk for a Permanent A Lister on this site. I won't be around in 20 years to say I told you so, but nobody then will even know who she is or what she does and nothing she sang back in the day will be heard anywhere on whatever passes for a radio then. That's not a permanent A list talent.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly what I say. Let us know where she is in even a decade. Then if she still matters, that’s when she’s permanent A-list. A decade is a standard amount of time for huge acts to be relevant. 20 years is not. The rating system here truly is a joke.

Absolutely, Sandy. She will be the next Debbie Gibson or Tiffany. Bloom probably more deserves a perm label just because the Tolkien movies will be around forever.

Well Gaga has a similar run and now has a movie to bump up her rating. Wouldn't put it past Perry to do the same. Agree that LOTR gives Bloom long-term star status.
