This A- list dual threat comic actor who did hit movies and a hit television show at the same time broke up with his girlfriend/sober coach. Last time that happened he went on a huge bender.
Martin Short was married to his wife, Nancy, for 36 years until her death. Before he met Nancy, he dated fellow Canadian, Gilda Radner. Now THAT would have been a couple!
If you remember, Kathie Lee Epstein Gifford, who claimed to be one of their closest friends, (?!) interviewed him on her morning show after her death and asked him how Nancy was doing. stunned, Martin and everyone in the room fumbled to continue the conversation. Only after the show ended did Short tell her his wife had died. This is how phony and shallow these on-air personalities are.
To my knowledge, Marty does not have drug issues. He does date, but he's hardly Pete Davidson, so the press doesn't care. Pete should be so talented.
