There is still a slight, but noticeable droop to the side of this former tweener turned A- list singer's mouth because of her overdose. A waitress who served her this weekend said she tried not to stare, but wanted to make sure.
At TMZ today, there is a shot of Demi in a car taken last night as she left the restaurant mentioned, and I do not see even a slight droop to her mouth. Unless it was airbrushed out.
Prefacing this with, if someone suffered neuro damage from an overdose that's extremely sad and I have to really hope for their full recovery, career or not...
Anyway, the drooping can be while speaking and not while at-rest. And it might not show up on photos taken from afar, or such photos depicting neurological damage may have been pulled from the batch in a friendly move on behalf of the subject.
Which, for the purposes of the popular favorite guess of this blind item, is just as bad given what the subject probably wants to get back to.
Demi overdosed for three days straight. Attempted suicide. Her issues are much more serious than a slight droop of the mouth. That is why she has been in a Full Time, Live In Care facility, since last July. Get real. Denial doesn't change facts.

She's been in rehab for months now. She can go out for a meal on occasion.

Facial droop is the result of either a stroke or Bell's Palsy.
