He’s certainly not best known for The Arrangment.

  7. Stan Lee stole much credit from other very talented people and hoarded all the fame for himself. He was a visionary and a major talent, but he claimed credit falsely and stole the limelight from many other talented people.

  8. @DDonna, so he was like the Thomas Edison of comics?

  9. DDonna Tartly: Last night I had some media friends over for supper and this is the exact conversation we had around the table. Not about Stan Lee, but other men and women who are also world famous. Yes, indeed, Lee did this for a long time. He is certainly not alone. Some people who really did the heavy lifting for something to become reality die without ever getting an ounce of recognition. Science, Medicine, Musical world, literature, etc. Thank you for pointing this out. Appreciate it.

  10. Hope its not Michael Vartan!!

  11. DDonna and some people like Jack Kirby are given too much credit by the fans. It's hard to say who really created what. In Stan's case he gets a lot of the credit because he stayed with Marvel so long whereas Kirby, Ditko, etc. kept leaving and coming back every time the got pissed off.

  12. Vartan would fit.

Harry Shum Jr. does not fit. Glee was cancelled years ago and he is still on shadowhunters.

  13. Johnny Galecki. Born in Belgium, seen on the red carpet with his 21-year-old girlfriend, The Big Bang Theory was recently cancelled.

  14. Big Bang Theory was a network show, not cable.

  15. Okay, I have no idea what the difference between network and cable is tbh.

    2. Network is everything that's also "over the air": NBC CBS AVC Fox etc

Cable: everything that's not "premium" and not "over the air"

      Premium: shit that's extra

  16. Just to be clear: I do not think Stan Lee's fame is undeserved. It is. He was a very entertaining, clever and creative writer.

But Stan Lee took ALL the fame for himself for a very long time. Only in the past few years did he become more gracious, and it's worth noting that some of the people he praised the most were dead and/or retired by the time he got there.

  18. "... most known for his recently canceled cable show..." Can't be Michael Vartan. He'll always be best known for Alias.

  20. If the person was under 13, that’s not “sex”. It’s rape.

  21. Stan Lee and Bob Kane, two peas in a selfserving pod.

  22. Just like the Kartrashians who steal. Then the few times they're caught, they throw a bit of money, or nothing at all to those who worked/slave. I hate them, they're frauds and thieves; all of them.

  23. Kevin Spacey/ House of Cards?

  24. God I HATE how every thread gets hijacked when gossip news like Stan Lee's death drops. This isn't about that! I come hear to read guesses on the blind. So annoying!

    1. Hey, just be grateful that nobody made it about politics yet....

  25. Kevin Spacey is a good guess but he was never "mostly TV". I think he was considered A list at one point, anyway. And House of Cards is still on...HE just isn't. I think you're in the right wheelhouse though.

    1. How is spacey a good guess. He’s not foreign born, not B list, house of cards is not cable and it isn’t cancelled. He was fired from the show.

  26. I'm gonna hate it if it's Michael Vartan but it fits too well. Mostly TV, decidedly B list and born in France. It would be weird for sure considering one of the themes of his storyline in "Never Been Kissed"!

  27. KiKi71: I am to blame for hijacking the blinds more than anyone. However, there are events happening pertaining to this genre that some of us feel merit the interruption. Certainly Stan Lee (Stanley Martin Lieber-NYC) certainly qualifies for a little interruption.

These blinds have become so repetitive that I, personally, welcome the input of my fellow posters. We have a lot of people here who were or are involved in the business. Some don't want to admit it, but their encyclopedic knowledge of filmdom can't be disguised.

  28. Speaking of going off topic: The Daily Beast has a really interesting story today about the Private Detective who is going to make sure Harvey Weinstein never sees the inside of a court, much less a jail cell! Someone will probably write a film about HIM. Ben Affleck would be perfect.

  29. William Moseley and Rob Heaps are both foreign born and have recently cancelled shows so fit that part of the clue.

This blind is way too vague to have any decent guesses. Recently (in the past week or past year?) canceled (is it no longer on the air, or will it be gone at the end of the season?)
B list is pretty low for this page, and combine it with them being best known for the canceled show (not for a previous hit like Glee or Alias) -- it means that we've probably never heard of the guy.
Pretty much all we've got to go on is that they attended the PCA's.
Nobody is going to guess it, and Enty didn't give us a "your turn" or Lee post, so this happens.
You're free to make your own guess though.
