As key as she is to the success of this very hit cable show, this multiple Emmy nominee/winner has been threatened with replacement on the show because her drinking is out of control and she has blacked out from drinking on set several times. She is a very rare visitor to the blinds and never about her drinking.

Well she wasn't in Roanoke and do we really expect anyone to work with Ryan Murphy for a long time, on something as dark & twisted as AHS no less, and not self medicate??

I totally believe this one, because she has looked mildly out of it most of the time. Her eyes aren't completely focused and she has a bit of a slur.
ReplyDeleteA friend went to high school with her daughter and she's an addict (at least, she was in high school, and I don't think that's something you outgrow), so Lange's got some heavy stuff to deal with.
Perhaps she was struggling with the deal she made with the devil.

ReplyDeleteFelt bad when Sam Shepard died . Maybe she had a hard time with it too . I know he drank alot when he was younger . She is always awesome . I didn't appreciate what a good actor she was when I was younger . Was kinda cool in Coven to see a woman her age really come across as sexual .

ReplyDelete@mary lamb, Jessica's last AHS was 2015, Curtain Call and I have missed her dearly. She did two episodes of this years Apocalypse which she was awesome in.

ReplyDeleteWell,props to her ability and longevity. Wasn't she Frances Farmer in that movie? She's been around a long time and has stayed mostly scandal free.
ReplyDeleteShe was good in Feud and LOVED her in Frances. If you never saw that you should. But otherwise she is kind "eh" for me.
