Blind Item #4

A little thing like marriage does not stop this late night talk show host from embarrassing himself in his attempts to try and hook up with this A list singer every chance he gets.

  2. I do not at all see any of the appeal of Ariana Grande.

I watched Jimmy's show last night for the first time I think ever. Five min of my life I can't get back.

    Anyway, Ari was on it.

  4. I can't believe his wife puts up with this sh*t! She is successful on her own, and doesn't need that POS!

I would imagine a "hook up" with Fallon would consist of a lot of cocaine, alcohol, giggling at imaginary funny stuff and very little sex. Grande's already had that with Miller and Davidson.

She can sing, though for how long who knows with that yodeling she does.

She does fit the fairy princess stereotype, tiny little girlish thing, which teenaged girls love...and some grown up men do too.

  9. She’ll probably hook up with him. He’s her type. Aka, troubled.

  10. @Annie +100. Fallon is an insufferable no-talent hack IMO. His puerile, sophomoric humor is unwatchable. The only remotely interesting thing he does is his thank you notes bit, which (once again IMO) is just a rip off of the old (and 1000% better) SNL deep thoughts by Jack Handey bit.. can't believe that drunken drug addled yutz still has a show. Johnny Carson must be rolling in his grave..

Thanks, yeah, I guess I forget about the target audience--the teenaged girls who would like her music, lifestyle, etc--and was only thinking about the people who think she's SO HOT. Not my type, I guess.

There will never be another Carson.
    He was a spiritual Healer.
Younger people won't believe that; but those who were here in the 70 s will.
I saw Johnny' s calming effect on my mom, every night at 1130. A woman under so much stress and loneliness.
    God bless you, Johnny.

  13. @Unknown, times have changed too! Now a days people dont want a healer, people want someone who can constantly keep them angry and reaffirm their beliefs that only they are right and everyone else is wrong!

  14. Being a foreigner to most of you, I'm aware of Fallon's name but not entirely sure what he looks like, so I googled him.

And, Jesus, thats a Shatner-esque abomination thats taken to inhabiting the top of his head.

Does he go out in public with that thing? Has he no shame?

  15. I'm annoyed that the Christmastime is Here sketch included Ariana this year. Yes, it's a dumb bit but I find it hilarious and I dislike her quite a lot.

  16. She has the body of a 12yr old boy, the vocabulary of a 1st grader, and sings like she's got a mouth full of weiners (and I'm not talking hot dogs here). I can make out maybe 2 out of every 15 words she sings. I really can't stand the little twit.

  17. So Ariana wears a hairpiece and Jimmy Falon does too???? I had read Ariana was going bald.

I miss Johnny. His sidekick Ed. Cool guests , like Burt Reynolds and Don Rickles and a young Suzanne Somers.
My mom laughing at midnight... now that was a good thing 2 hear...:)

  20. @Unknown: You are so right about Johnny Carson being a healer. Or I might say, a calming personality.
A former teacher of mine who had been very sick for the past few years found old Johnny Carson re-runs on some channel. He was on oxygen full time but would stay up late every night so that he could watch Carson. We were very close & spoke often, and no matter what was going on in my life, he’d say, don’t worry about it, just watch Johnny Carson. In January, it will be a year since he died, so I really appreciate your posts about your mom as I can totally relate to the happiness and peace that he brought to so many. Thank you.

  22. +1 on the Johnny Carson endorsements.

Ed McMahon was interviewed in the mid-90s, just after Johnny went off the air, and one of his fans told him, when you and Johnny went off the air, all the warmth went out of TV. That pretty much sums it up right there.

I like Letterman (and Leno) as much as the next guy, but they were class clowns and I wouldn't say they connected with people as much as Carson did.
