ReplyDelete@Raven - what's a reason to trash one's life with drugs and alcohol? I will tell you.
When you have a constant desire to "get away" and put some distance between yourself and reality because reality is too painful. So drugs or alcohol can put a layer of comfort and deception between us and the real world and for some people, that barrier is sorely needed.
So. We all have a different toolbox and some of us have tools others don't have.
She was always kinda off, even back in the 90's when she was an It girl. Now she's just a basket case, think she really needs to see a good shrink to help her process things.

ReplyDeleteIm a man, I was raped at age 35 by a man I met online, my drinking spiraled out of control for years.
Now Im 5 years sober, but I lived in hell.
@Hunter So you're saying people that are WEAK minded must turn to drugs and alcohol to cope with everyday life? There are things called strength and intelligence that could counteract that problem. The need to "get away" is a friggin cop out. Put your big girl pants on, toughen up, and stop being such a burden on society.
