Blind Item #21 - Golden Globes - Mr. X

Things between this A- list dual threat actress who has a hit television show and a sequel to a hugely successful film coming soon and her actor wife were not good last night. They always save the yelling for home and they thought they left it private last night too, but their driver said they were yelling at each other the entire ride about respect and the actor not doing his fair share and she had to do everything.

  2. Aren't marriages all about yelling? Like the ceremony is just to introduce you to the person you're going to argue with the most until death or divorce?

  3. +1 MD. Mr. X is still shitfaced obviously.

  4. Oh Bell and Dax, yeah they're a f*ckin' joke, or he is anyway. Never understood why she wasted her time with him.

    1. Brayson: i always chalked it up to her being a turbocunt control freak and him being an easily bossed around borderline retard.

  5. Do you even proofread? As written this makes no sense.

  6. Her and Jason Dohring had so much chemistry on screen. I figured eventually she'd find her real life prince charming but then she showed up with that goofball.

  7. Maybe I have a really shitty marriage, but I feel like this "fight" is one that married couples will have from time to time. It's not necessarily a sign that the relationship is doomed.

I'd be more concerned if I were seeing things that would suggest one of the parties was cheating on the other.

    ....oh, wait....

  8. I know a lot of folks don't like Bell/Shepard, but I do. I root for them to work it out.

Sarah Paulson? TV Show would be AHS and ACS. Movie is "Glass" which is a sequel to "Split" and "Unbreakable." Wife/partner is actress Holland Taylor.

  10. I could imagine it right now. They're sitting in the backseat, she's staring at his stupid face, he's watching her one eye start to wander, and not even a sloth with a rose could stop the shouting that's about to begin. Of course if she hadn't lucked into being a Disney princess her horse wouldn't be so high, but he does have a creepy vibe.

  11. Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor.

I'm also rooting for Kristen Bell and Dax Sheppard to have a successful marriage that lasts.
They really seem to love each other and respect each other a lot.
I know Dax can have kind of a douche vibe but from interviews and all he legit seems like a cool guy.

  13. There's a quote I heard that, "Women marry men expecting them to change, and they don't. Men marry women expecting them to stay the same, and they change." If your man leaves his shoes all over the house, puts nearly empty cereal boxes back in the pantry, and throws his dirty clothes on the floor, don't expect that just because he married you he'll change. If it bothers you when you're dating, it's going to be magnified 100x over a decade-plus of marriage!

I hope these two can figure out how to get back to a better place (no pun intended).

    1. Gotta catch broads at the beginning of their 7yr cycles. 21, 28, 35 are the targets.

  14. I'm with you @LooksLikeCRicci. I adore her, and like him well enough, and hope they have happily ever after.

  15. @Bec good analogy
Being married is challenging, but all marriages have fought with each other..
    No two people think alike

  16. Look for the couples that don't ever argue to split.

  17. Unless it's at typo, "her actor wife" infers to two women. So can't be Dax and Kristen.

    ReplyDelete
  18. it doesn't infer anything. it IMPLIES it. The reader infers while the writer implies. Not rocket science.

  19. Only thing i've learned about marriage is that neither changes so suck it up and deal with it or leave...oh and life is short and pointless..so there is always that.

  20. @HDNYC You do know that Veronica Mars is coming back, right? With both of them? All I can say is, they'd better not mess too much with my LoVe!!!

  22. Boy have I got news for you: new season of Veronica Mars on Hulu sometime this year!

  23. @Brayson

    Yep, that's about it, lol.

Marriage is a fight to the death, slow motion war of wills.

Bell is also starring in The Good Place, which is a cute little comedy that got a new season.

  24. Again, not Bell and Shepherd. I'm telling you... there is no way they are that good at acting. Just look at Bell's Instagram. They are straight up cool, fun, old-timers, with kids, who clearly like each other. I am rooting for them!

  25. Amiable, loving, couples fight all the time.

Big night, lots of prep and starvation for Bell, tensions galore, and all Dax has to do is shower and make sure his jacket is pressed. Yeah, lots of totally committed couples would fight under those conditions. I would, no question, if my husband made one single demand or request before a night like that.
