I think everyone was afraid this permanent A list comedian was going to overdose last night or hear that he was found dead this morning. He was popping oxy like candy. He could barely form any kind of coherent sentences and just drank gallons of water and popped the pills.

ReplyDeleteHow can people stand this stuff? I take a tramadol as prescribed and I can't stand the effect. I can't wait until some breakthrough in medication creates a pill that relieves pain with none of that zombie feeling.

DeleteDave said too much (watch his famous interview on Oprah), disappeared for years, then came back. Many people including a close cousin, believe it's not Dave.

ReplyDeleteI saw Dave in November. He was in DC campaigning for Ben Jealous and did a short set at a Wanda Sykes show. He looked fine. Maybe that was a non-Oxy day?
ReplyDeleteI am amazed people won't acknowledge this is not really Dave Chapelle, but a double. Different body, different face, and none of that beautiful energetic positive vibe Chapelle had. This new guy feels arrogant and is fundamentally unfunny. Also, where's his family and kids he supposedly gave all those years on the farm for?

ReplyDeleteIf he's popping Ocs like candy, like it says here, that shit kinda makes you a shell of your former self. Weight loss, muscle loss, and loss of personality, feelings, expressions, etc.. Its the nature of the drug, and it's a nasty little pill. I know, I was given it by a dr, at a far too young age, 20 yrs ago and still suffer the effects of that garbage, even tho it's been over 10 yrs since I've touched it, or anything like it. When you're young and don't know better, and trust your Dr,... Well, it was the wrong thing to do. Luckily now, I know better. It took a while to get there. It does a number on everything. And takes a while to get what's lost, back. It can be done tho!
DeleteWow... this is weird. I never heard about this double stuff until now, and so I looked up pictures, and yeah, that is NOT Dave Chappelle going around being "Dave Chappelle". Creepy. I'm not a conspiracy kind of person, but wow.
