ReplyDeleteThe problem is you cant just shove us females into movies if they are still SHITTY movies and expect them to do well just bc 'OH HEY WOMAN POWER LOOK WE PUT WOMEN IN IT INSTEAD'. If it sucks, it sucks. Look at the shitshow that was Ghostbusters and Ocean's 8. Even with a male cast, those movies would suck because they were just horrible movies to begin with with a horrible script.

If it's going to be rated R for sex and nudity, I'm all for it. Scarlett Johansson is one of the very few Hollywood actresses I find attractive. Add some zest, superhero films are boring anyway.

I love superhero movies too. As does my 9 year old daughter who LOVES black widow. If they make it R rated how do I explain that to her. Like, how has a character she's been fine watching into now suddenly become unwatchable. I think its really sad that the only way they can make a bad ass female assassin sell-able is to add nudity and sex. This is wrong marvel.

ReplyDeleteI read comic books and I can say I don't believe in this movie. Black Widow doesn't have cool villains or any important stories. She is just a random spy and always used sex to get the information and conclude the missions. I doubt ScarJo will make sex scenes. The best villain is Yelena Belova and she is exactly like Natasha, she is the Black Widow II. Yelena is blond and Nat is redhead ( I know the movies change her hair to blond but this is wrong). Oh and Yelena is funny, a brutal killer, and this: "Yelena was running a lingerie company and soft pornography television channels at the time." HAHAHA Sorry, I can't believe this will be on a movie. I have no idea why in the Earth they'd film a movie about a shit char like Black Widow. They should have been filming something about Storm.
How would this fail? The R rating on a Marvel Studios Marvel Cinematic Universe installment would be a draw, people would want to know why it's R rated, they would buy a ticket. Simple As.
