There have been a lot of behind the scenes discussions between this disgraced producer and this A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee. Apparently there are multiple recordings of the two of them engaged in sexual activities. Also, it seems neither of them know where the recordings are. Our producer had one of his apartments wired for sound and video and captured sexual performances on the system regularly. When everything started going down, he had the stuff removed because he thought it would look bad if it came to light in the press. The thing is though, when it was being dismantled, someone also walked away with the storage bin which contained thousands of hours of video, including the trysts between the producer and the A lister. She is one of the very few people who even know of the existence of the recording system. If the recordings ever came to light, there would be a lot of shock and awe on the part of the other women who were recorded, many of whom have said nothing ever happened. They are lying, but also didn't know about the recording system when they said they lied. It is one of the reasons this A lister has not really given a definitive answer to whether she has engaged in sexual activities with the producer. She knows she can't say no until and unless all the recordings are discovered. The company that removed the system says they don't have them. Apparently their offices were broken into shortly after they did the removal. The thing is though, they don't have any record of moving the storage bin to their offices anyway. My guess is that the company the producer hires to fix things for him has it as insurance through the years.

Marisa Tomei is one who I've wondered about. She's almost never mentioned in connection with HW, but she has a rather unique history with him. She starred in "Playing For Keeps" in the mid-80s, the only movie the Weinsteins ever made themselves; later, following her post-Oscar dry patch (amid stories she'd become difficult to work with and casting poison) her first two roles were in Miramax flicks. I mean, I HOPE this doesn't mean anything, but I'm not surprised at being surprised these days...

Somebody guessed at Marisa Tomei, but she showed up in a NYC courtroom wearing a Times Up tee-shirt for Weinstein's motion to dismiss. I doubt if she was talking to him about possible tapes of them together if she's willing to publicly poke the bear. Maybe, but doubtful.
JLaw, and Goop, have both denied it publicly. So it can't be them. (Yet they seem to be everyone's favorite guess despite that fact)
I saw another person guess Natalie Portman. She tore him up at the Variety Power of Women event in October 2018. That would be a mighty bold thing to do if you knew someone had secret tapes of you.
Per the words in the blind, it's none of these women, and I can't even think of one who would fit the description, nearly all the Oscar winners have made public denials. All you have to do is search the net to find them.

I have an acquaintance who is beautiful - like, inside and out gorgeous - who moved to LA years ago and never made it big. I’ve often wondered why someone as exceptional as her never made it. She’s not the best actress but how many crap actresses turn into huge stars just off their looks? And she has the looks.

JLaw was always talented. Winter’s Bone proves that. But I’ve never thought she deserved an Oscar for SLP. She, like Goop, got a ton of hype leading up to it and did a nice job but leave a thinking person wondering why they got the award over so many others.
When HW is the common thread between them, it’s pretty clear he exerted his power. I don’t care what JLaw says. You don’t rocket to the very top in a few short years while also being professionally involved with the man without having paid your dues to him.

I don't understand why people here think JLaw's all about SLP and Weinstein. She had a good career going before that movie. She was Oscar nominated for Winter's Bone in 2010, and starred in X-Men First Class in 2011. Then she starred in the Hunger Games in early 2012.

She could either accept his terms or refuse and move on. So could Goop. Many women have chosen to turn their backs on him, with varying degrees of success after the fact. Was Ashley Judd a megastar, winning award after award? No, but she maintained a career after turning him down. And she's already stated that he dangled an Oscar nom in front of her while propositioning her. I can only imagine that was his regular shtick.
They are *all* his victims in one way or another. It's just that some chose to go along and some move in other directions without him. My old acquaintance still has a career, and a nice one. But she's not a huge star because she wouldn't sink to his level. That's the sort of difference his influence makes.
