Getting away from Anuston is probably slightly less of a relief than being liberated from Treblinka. I cant imagine anyone returning for anything but some nostalgia poon.

Y'all do know that you can be friends with your exes and not want to get back with them, right? I am friendly with an ex I had about 10 years ago. I can speak to him about his life without wanting to be with him, I actually helped him get together with his current girlfriend. We actually broke up because our romantic chemistry just wasn't there anymore, no hard feelings and we stayed friends.
I know Jen and Brad's situation was drama filled in the media, but it's been 15 years, they seem to have moved on and are able to be friends now that he's not with psycho anymore.

@Astra: +1 I always think it’s best to stay friends with my exes. (Except for the one who stalked me.) Sometimes you need a bit of a break after the relationship ends, but generally, if you had commonality in the first place, it’s possible to re-invent the relationship as a friendship.
Ugh. How can anyone possibly wish Brad back into Jen’s life? He lied and cheated on her. It boggles the mind how he can seemingly do no wrong, but the women he chooses are always to blame. He’s the poster boy for white male privledge.
@kimberlini, we invited my ex to our wedding and he invited us to his and both sides attended. My ex mother-in-law would also send her plane to pick up my husband, son (from ex), and I for visits to their ranch. Everyone got along well. Ex and I were just not right for each other. My husband was also a pallbearer at my ex's funeral.
