This radio conglomerate is being pushed to do something about some racist comments from one of their hosts who is A list. He also does a whole bunch of other things too. Right now, the conglomerate is pretty much going to take a wait and see attitude depending on how many people complain.

ReplyDeleteIf this is Joe it seems UNBELIEVABLE to me that he would have Roseanne on and talk about the Planet of the Apes and NOT remember that he did a bit using that analogy that was flicking recorded. I did stand up for a few years and I know damn well what I did and didn't say, and if I had said something like that I surely would remember when they put Roseanne through the ringer. Maybe Joe doesn't have a bell to ring?
My most controversial bits were about not being a lesbian or a jew, which is not the rule for women who do comedy. I have no regrets. It always got a laugh. I liked Joe but now I think he's a mendacious kiss ass.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Rogan. Though to be fair, I’ve lived in a few cities that have large communities from different parts of Africa. For example south Seattle has a large Somali population. That was definitely a place you didn’t want to be out at night.
