Blind Item #2

This radio host and A list comic movie director agreed to not give this long time comic/addict any more money so the comic/addict would not be able to purchase drugs. The radio host did his part, but the comic director decided against it and advanced the comic/addict $15K which he used on drugs and almost died. Again.

  3. Stern hasnt been giving Artie money since he poked holes in himself back in 2009. Only time they spoke was when they happened to visit Robin in the hospital at the same time.

Apatow needs Artie to draw people to that horrible HBO show he has.

    2. Completely agree. I love Artie but I think he wants to die and they should just let him at this point.

    3. I love Artie too, and it’s so sad to see him in this situation. But yeah you can’t save everyone. I wish he could see the light but you can’t force him.

  5. Sorry to be the one to completely hijack an irrelevant thread, but why's there been no mention/juicy gossip from Enty re: the doxxing of MM-critics by the Daily Mail yesterday? Such alarming censorship...

    1. It, censorship should be mentioned or brought. out. Hinted warnings will arrive later then sooner and plants may appear, not tulips. Doxxing, censorship, threats to/from KP are unprecidented in ballsiness from new PR guru with PH as puppetmaster and are sure to trickle down. MM has backing of Queen, security, intel and is not hard to figure why, she the beacon of inclusivity for German/European BRf. The new one gets lux life/supply whilst old ones look relevant, open minded, diverse and ever so modern.

  6. Apatow is the comic director. It's probably meant to be Stern for the first, but it's a trick since he hasn't given him money in years, probably.

  8. Its Anthony Cumia and Apatow. Artie was cohosting with Cumia on Cumia's radio network and they 'agreed to part ways' the second (or third?) to last time Artie went to rehab following an arrest last year.

Not surprised that most of you have never heard of him, but you should dig into Cumia who has a long history of very questionable behavior even beyond the alleged racism.

  9. Good call on Cumia. Does apatow do his podcast?

Artie is locked up right now. Whether it is prison or rehab, he aint getting out anytime soon. Possed hot for coke in court, which means he was doing blow w/i 3 days of court. He will probably have harder withdrawals from Veal Parm than from the drugs.

  10. Definitely Anthony Cumia. He took a chance with Artie and Artie squandered it.

  11. Has to be Stern/Apatow as enablers and Artie Lange for the comic. However much I might differ with his Twitter I can't blame Judd for reaching out to Lange. However, if Howard agreed not to give Artie any more money than that agreement was reached back in 2010. If Howard is secretly funneling money to Lange, then Stern must have an enormous list of payouts on the sly and some serious blackmail-able secrets to cover. Bababooey to y'all.

    1. Howard wouldn't help Scott with his wife's cancer treatment, then bitched thet Scott's GoFundMe or whatever made him look bad. Howard wouldnt funnel Artie a cake much less money.

  12. Ok,that's the Anthony of Opie and Anthony, who's show got canned, never knew his last name. Explains no rating. @EddyWouldRide got it.

  13. It's Anthony not Stern. Howard wouldn't give a nickel to a blind man dying of thirst to buy a sip or water. I would love for someone to finally expose Robin's fake cancer while she served house arrest for charity tax fraud at Aventura.

  16. @Count no, Apatow is very 'off brand' for Cumia's current show which is very right wing focused. Cumia hired him knowing he was an active, supposedly "maintenance" user. Artie consistently no showed, showed up late, got bloody noses, and nodded out during his short run (which included rebranding the name of the show AND increasing subscriber rates.) I'm sure Cumia was not upset to see the back of Artie.

  17. @Lady A, Nobody is surprised by the UK, they're way too busy trying to build the dream of 1984. Cameras everywhere, no free speech, those bloggers and tweeters obviously suffered from wrongthink and their thoughtcrimes needed to be punished.

    2. Rape gangs, acid throwers, murderers, all go free. But god forbid you like a tweet that is a limerick about trans people! Then the police show up to your house and lecture you and tell you to change your attitude or you’re going to jail. Don’t even think about complaining about all the vibrant diversity either. Indigenous Brits have no right to exist, and the country belongs to everyone else.

See why we left? Why we had the Revolution? Lol.

    3. @Brayson. Agreed with cameras here, they are everywhere - but mainly in the cities. I'm sure you could get away with a good ol' fashion punch up out in the countryside... Whats shocking is that a lot of our/Europe's data is protected under the GDPR and so they've only gone after bloggers in the US? It's so embarrassingly draconian and implies a complete lack of security. What happened to the Royal mantra of "Never apologise, never explain"?

@Astra - huh? I'm an "indigenious Brit" as you put it, and on the one occasion I had to call the police last year, they couldn't have been more helpful. I can fully understand that might not be the international view of the UK seeing that our paper, the Daily Mail, now has such huge international reach, but DMs reports must be taken with a pinch/truckload of salt- i think it's a bit like the National Enquirer that you guys get?

    4. I’m glad you had a good experience with the police. It’s probably dependent on where you live, just like here. When I lived in the DC area, I never once had a pleasant encounter with any cop, and didn’t know anyone who did (this spanned all races, classes, and ages). Where I’m at now, I haven’t had any encounters at all with any police other than the security officers at the school, and they were very nice and a pleasure to just casually chat with while waiting.

Do you feel like a stranger in your own country yet?

The National Enquirer gets a bad reputation. I haven’t read it in years but I read it regularly growing up (a family member got it as a joke and I have always been a voracious reader). They did some stellar reporting on the OJ case, they broke the John Edwards story, to name the two I remember. They also covered Scott Peterson and Chandra Levy. I would routinely see something the Enquirer had printed, in the Washington Post, weeks later and just shake my head. I will say the last time I read it, it wasn’t good any longer. Oh well.

    5. Yes that's true. I'm from London so I suppose it's probably hit and miss depending on your post code (zip).

Re: Do I feel like a stranger here.. Well no not really, I'm a born and bred Londoner and I love it. It's always been a melting pot of cultures (from the French Huguenots in the 17th century to the doctors and nurses from the Caribbean in the 1950s and traders from Pakistan in the 1970s). So nothing has changed, except perhaps this recent development of embarassment in our own English culture (waving the flag at anywhere other than a football game is now viewed suspiciously as being subvertly racist - bizarre) or the slow breakdown of loved institutions (like the NHS) - but that's our own fault...

  21. The last time I listened to Stern's show was when Artie was on 10 years ago. The show was never good after that and got ridiculously PC and not funny. Saw a picture recently of Artie with his nose all blown up from coke. I think the bones in his nose are dissolved. The poor guy- it is so sad. The only thing that could save him would be if he was committed and locked up so he could not do drugs. I watch "Crashing" and I kind of like it btw. Not sure who the radio host is in the blind but Stern seemed to write Artie off years ago. The director is Apatow.

  23. Alf, I read the link and saw your comment. Could you please post a link to any information you have that says that Robin was under house arrest in Florida and faked cancer?

I have been a fan of Howard's for over 25 years and I have never heard these allegations. If true, many people lied on air, including Dr. Agus.

  24. This is very much Anthony Cumia (ex. Opie and Anthony) and Judd Apatow with Artie Lange. Fired from (or left) Artie & Anthony podcast, still on Crashing. Here's hoping he pulls through—a world of people are rooting for him. Sad to see him like this.

  25. Howard has zero to do with Artie, good or bad. I dont believe Artie can or wants to really be healthy.

  26. THIS WAS DISCUSSED ON CUMIA'S SHOW LAST WEEK.
Cumia & Judd agreed to let Artie go of his jobs until he was clea.
    Cumia did and Judd didn't.
Artie publicly said he gets $30k per episode and JUdd gave him $15k upfront so Artie can have his "people" on set to help him film without withdrawals.

  27. Watching Artie in Pete Holmes' Crashing on HBO is painful. His nose shape changes each time you see him. One episode his right nostril could fit a silver dollar into, the other you couldn't fit a straw. By the third season he has some weird pug dog nose. I thought it was prosthetics as a sort of running joke. But, nope, that's just the dudes nose.
Speaking of comedians who have done shady shit, on the church of what's happening now podcast Sam Tripoli admitted to raping a girl. Joe Rogan flip flopped so much over Sam and Eddie Bravo saying Chris Cornell was murdered. Joey Diaz tells a lot of stories he probably shouldn't, he did a few episodes and talked about certain celebrities doing stuff you'd never imagine unless you read CDAN. I'm looking for the episode it was about the strangest Halloween party they had been to. Pretty much everything Sam says is an exaggeration.

  30. Why on Earth would someone give a hard core addict $15K upfront??? You might as well personally put a bullet into the guy's head. Same difference.

Very disappointed in Robin. Faking cancer? Yeah, fuck you. Although, if you're faking it, how do you get admitted into a hospital??
