Speaking of monthly fees, whatever this A list comic/sometime actor is paying his granddaughter aged girlfriend is clearly not enough to have her even look like she really wants to be with the guy old enough to be her grandfather.

Not Martin Short. His wife died a while ago and it's my understanding he's been pretty torn up over it. Further, wouldn't Enty mention foreign-born if this was Martin Short with him being Canadian?
Dane Cook was, at one point, pretty high up there but his star faded quickly. He seems to fit though.
Dane Cook fits with the "sometimes actor" comment. Didn't Lopez have a show on one of the main networks? Cook headlined a few movies a few years back, but that's all I can think of. And yes, ten years ago, I'd argue he was an A-list comic.
