Blind Item #4

This former A+ list mostly movie actor turned trouble getting work turned A- list mostly television actor who also does a ton of commercials is filming a new show overseas. He hates it. While the rest of the cast mingles with visitors to the set, our actor hops into a SUV he bought with his own funds and has someone drive him to his trailer fifteen minutes away where he stays until he is needed for the next shot even if he only has time to be in his trailer for five minutes before heading back.

    1. He is filming something called Christmas in the Wild (premise includes safari) so it could be it.

  4. Maybe he's an introvert. I can see myself doing the same thing.

  7. Who cares, he bought the SUV with his own funds. If mingling isn't in his contract why should he? Maybe he's just playing a ton of Fortnite back at his trailer ;)

  8. I think it's Rob Lowe, too.

  9. Don’t blame him. As long as he isn’t rude about it, I don’t think it’s a problem. “Hell is other people” lol.

  10. PRob Lowe. Isnt he on the "blackball" list as a conservative these days?

  11. @Marlin, It's difficult to say, seems like getting caught with underage partners is characteristic of both parties nowadays.

  12. I went to an adult summer camp and a huge number of the people on our weekend were of the type we refer to as "Bridge & Tunnel."

If I were on a movie set with an entire crew of B&T people I might take an SUV offsite as well.

  13. @hunter, Tell us about the adult summer camp! Were there crafts? :)

  14. Wow, @hunter, I can't believe something as classy as an adult summer camp would even let "Bridge & Tunnel" people in. It should have been obvious to the counsellors that those types are far beneath you and would ruin your experience.

Did one of them try to touch your tiara?

  16. 'Adult summer camp' sounds like jail work release.

  17. Imagine if all is commenters were thrown together somewhere to make a movie?

How would the dynamics there work out, eh?

Personally my SUV would have a machine gun nest and possibly a small minefield.

Oh I'd let a select few of you in for just relaxing stuff like a few drinks, card games, maybe a bit of mutual genital colliding and the odd baby sacrifice to Moloch, Beelzebub or Mickey Mouse, one of the top rank daemons anyway.

  18. What’s bridge and tunnel people?

  19. Oh I was actually curious about the activities and living arrangements of adult summer camp. Like would it be all old school campfires and meal times or would the adults campers be loaded on wine and weed the entire time?

  22. Bridge & Tunnel means people not from the island Manhattan (smoke on your pipe and put that in!).

E.g., people from New Jersey or the outer boroughs of NYC who have to use a bridge or tunnel to get into Manhattan -- you know, just the scum of the Earth.

  24. Hard to picture Lowe not stopping to check for local talent though.

  25. @AppleThief, Good point, maybe he's actually trying to restrain himself in the #MeToo era.

  26. Did anyone else watch that paranormal show he did with his two sons?

I have to admit it was entertaining and they all came across as natural and funny.

  27. this is a blind? omg entards are reaching. this is impossibly normal behavior for an actor.

  28. Hunter-- did they have you make your own "sit-upon"? Were there smores and camp songs?⛺🍫🏊🚣🔥

  29. Would it kill ya to use a hyphen now and then? You do know what hyphens are, right? Was that not part of the legal-writing curriculum??

Also: Bridge and tunnel is not quite what it used to be now that Brooklyn is such a thing (so I hear). A friend went to Paris, and told me people there bragged about chic things being "trés Brooklyn." Not in my day, kids!!!
