This studio is marketing this true "athletic" story as a family movie. They are trying their hardest to stop websites from publishing the racist rant videos of the real life subject of the movie. There are also videos of her putting people in black face and of course those other videos with the drugs and the sex, but they are more worried about the racist ones. They knew about the others in advance. Probably.

ReplyDeleteHer dad and some of her brothers - who are also wrestlers - spouted off about Alberto and are known to be racist thugs. Her mom (Saraya, also a wrestler) is a bit wild and has had sex with a lot of other wrestlers and promoters over the years, with her husband's blessing/insistence, to get work but she's not racist either.
Dysffunctional family, though. Paige started wrestling when she was 12 and had a lot of older wrestlers hitting on her.
Just beaten to it. The racism comes from the family, not her.
