This permanent A list mostly movie actor/possible conspiracy to commit murder suspect knows he could never get away with his legal maneuvering here in the US and it is a long shot even overseas. Even if he does win, it is not going to change the fact that everyone knows what he did and how he tried to blame the victim for it.

ReplyDeleteI think they're both guilty of abuse (my ex-husband after 12 yrs tried to kill me & our daughter in front of the police & got 15 yrs; I was the primary breadwinner & when he started to become physically abusive 6 mos. prior (he was verbally before that but I didn't see that at the time due to his charming nature; he was dx as as a sociopath since elementary school but I wasn't aware at the time...long story). Anyhow, I was working on getting both me & my daughter out of the situation & I didn't mind leaving whatever I had to behind (I had a few expensive vehicles in my name - i.e. limited edition Supra like the one in Fast & Furious as I was a CPA & helped him with a business in show cars where we had sponsors like Blitz & Sony). If Amber Heard was so abused why did she wait until a day or two right after JD's beloved mother passed. I was destitute as far as liquid assets & would have stayed with my daughter at a women's shelter (or homeless, since in PB County they didn't have openings at the DV shelter until after the police saw him trying to stab me with a knife). And, I don't find JD attractive at all but I do think he's a great actor in the right part & doesn't seem to care that he fits in mainstream Hollywood; he still does need help with his addictions & his impulsive spending, but I think it's obvious he was in love with AH more than she was with her. If you are abused you don't ask for alimony either (whatever if she donated or not) as you do not want ANY ties to the abuser. Sorry for the length & grammatical errors (it's hard to write this using my smartphone with all these ads!

DeleteI have learned a lot about DV, and the one thing, as I’m sure you know, that abusers do is isolate the abused from family & friends. JD didn’t do that. In fact, he owned 4 PH apts. in LA...they lived in one, her bff and bf lived next door, her sister lived in one, and Amber used the 4th for her wardrobe & painting hobby (if that ridiculous ‘painting’ —which was supposed to be done by JD— that she did on a mirror calling herself a whore & accusing herself of having an affair with Billy Bob is any indication of her talent, clearly she possesses none.)
I do agree with you that he really loved her, and I think it’s clear that she abused him, but I still don’t believe that he abused her. She was evidently pushing him more & more to drink & drugs, so that she could try to get him declared incompetent & manage his finances. I think when it turned out that his finances were in a bad state, she decided to leave and try to get a huge settlement.
Can't follow that.

ReplyDeleteUnknown and Tricia: according to entry via his podcast, he strongly believes that he was responsible for river Phoenix death. Says he was horribly abusive to his the girlfriend Wynona and incredibly possessive. Wynona and river were supposed to make a movie together and voila. He holds him responsible for the business partner too but he disappeared so I don't even know if it has even been deemed a murder.

Nobody is denying that JD is an addict. However, Amber is as well. She’s well known for taking her coke up her hoo-ha and is currently dating a drug dealer. So what’s your point? Because he’s an addict you automatically accept the fact that he beat her? Or am I missing your point (if indeed you had one.)

Depp is a Hunter S Thompson mark. He will keep boozin and usin until his body starts to fail, then he will blow his brains out. Unlike Hunter, Depp will leave behind a complete mess of assets that his daughter will get robbed on atleast 1/3 of.

Then, there was the finger cutting incident. Those are violent acts. It's not much of a stretch to imagine he beat her. She doesn't dwell on it. She's moved on.
