"I have to go pick up my kid. You have two minutes." Apparently this A-/B+ list mostly television actress who had her biggest success in the show about the place south of LA wanted to make her endorsement money, but didn't want anyone to see her on the street posing with a product. I get it. This particular one is ridiculous because of what she is holding and where and it makes no sense. It is like she found it on the street, picked it up and was going to throw it in the nearest trash can she could find.

ReplyDeleteThey have sweetened and unsweetened. Comes in individual servings or liter plastic bottles.

ReplyDeleteI just can't with prebottled tea. It's either way too sweet or it has a weird chemical taste. Why buy bottled when making your own is loads cheaper.

Exactly, cheesegrater! But I hate sweet tea with a passion so I always had to make my own no matter what. They never did sell unsweetened that I ever found. Except at a fast food place (and not always). So 🤷🏼♀️
ReplyDeleteHave tried Harney & Sons? I make a good pot of tea, but that stuff is amazing. Tejava is another decent black iced tea and way cheaper than Harney. Both are unsweetened.

ReplyDeleteTeabags: lemon zinger, ginger & spearmint (3 different types, and diff brands)
I let them steep in boiling water in my 4 cup Pyrex for 10 minutes. I like it kinda strong.
I pour a TON of honey in & stir to dizzolve.
I pour it into empty glass tea bottles that I reuse, over & over.
I can reserve a cup to drink warm or I can have all 4 in the fridge for awesome, inexpensive iced tea. ☺️
I’m cracking up because I was wondering how there could be so much conversation about Rachel bilson , and I see it’s about tea. Being a good southern girl, I love iced tea, and it cannot come in a bottle

ReplyDeleteI just can't get with the mint flavored tea... well really any flavored tea. I guess the southern belle in me just likes the regular sweet tea (with way more sugar than it needs) :p
ReplyDeleteI love that stuff. Sweetened, no lemon. I got the delis near me to carry it years ago, and kept emailing Sams Club until they started carrying it. 15bottles for $11 is a great deal since many places charge $2.50/bottle.

ReplyDeleteto the tea-lovers: argo tea is my recommendation!! also look up the 'grantham breakfast blend' (or something like that) in the tube canisters - it's delicious!! i felt dorky ordering the downton abbey themed teas, but that one is assam with ginger, sooo yummy! xo
