Four For Friday - The First One

They were supposed to make a movie about the cause of her death. They didn't. Apparently the few surviving people who were going to speak to this A list writer/director/producer mostly horror team were warned off. Why warned off after so many years? I mean it has been decades since this A list celebrity/writer/game show fixture was killed. It is because of who did it and their connection to powers that be who are alive today and don't want to be exposed.

The A lister who was killed was very respected at her job. She wasn't a quack. She might have done gossip, but she dug deep and unearthed coverups. She was responsible for the release of a suspected murderer in one of the most famous cases of all time. When she got him out, she focused all of her attention on proving that an entire government commission had been bought off/paid off/blackmailed into saying one thing when it was an entirely different thing. Now, when she died, our A lister was not killed by a bunch of guys who stormed her apartment. Her husband and son were home, but in another room. The couple rarely slept together. Our A lister was known for drinking the same thing every night and filling her pill prescription the same day of each month at the same pharmacy. That is how it was done. They gave her the same pills as usual, but just jacked up in effectiveness. The day night she picked up her new altered prescription is the night she died.

Her death was so suspicious that the federal government and Congress investigated. The word was put out to let it go and so it was. I was really hoping the filmmakers were going to, with the help of their A+ list sometime partner/writer/director/producer the initialed one who just had an installment of his franchise released, but they all backed down.

  3. Initialled one is JJ Abrams and she had said she was going to investigate who killed JFK, so someone like CIA may have killed her

  4. Dorothy Kilgallen and the Warren Commission looking into the death of Kennedy. She famously did NOT believe the results of their findings.

  5. Killgallen, she was the only reporter to have interviewed Jack Ruby in jail.

She said she had a dossier that would blow the JFK assassination wide open.

Sam Shepard was the murder victim she got off

  7. The illusion of a democratic government is how most Americans sleep at night.

  8. The Kilgallen story would make a great film. Better than 'Gigli' at least.

  11. I’d never even heard of this woman until now. Did some quick online research and WOW! It’s a shame her legacy was pretty much murdered along with her body.

  17. This is the last show she did the evening before she died during the North East blackout. She looks in pretty bad shape. She's either sick or slightly inebriated. DK's last What's My Line

  18. Kilgallen was getting to blow open the JFK assassination. The book @shytlerj posted is fantastic!

On a side note, Jack Ruby just happened to develop cancer in jail. David Ferrie was working with Judyth Baker, Oswald's girlfriend, and Dr. Mary Sherman on a vaccine that would give someone cancer. It was being developed to take out Castro.
Dr. Mary's Monkey is an excellent book which breaks this down in detail.

  19. I used to watch Dorothy Kilgallen on What's My Line as a little kid. Wow, I had no idea she might have knowledge of the JFK assassination.

  20. @persiaa, Kilgallen interviewed Jack Ruby twice and apparently got a bunch of information. We know that members of JFK's Secret Service detail were drinking at his bar the night before the assassination. Ruby was a mob member and affiliated with both Carlos Marcello and sam Giancana.

Well... knocking off a journalist would be the easiest conspiracy to believe in this complex scheme. Considering: years later, word is Senators Hale Boggs (on the Warren Commission) and Nick Begich were targeted for elimination for "not being controlled or bought off by the White House or the FBI".
To add another layer of intrigue, a young Bill Clinton had been chosen to drive Hale Boggs to the airport on the day that Boggs' plane would later be reported as missing. Oh my...

  23. Dorothy Kilgallen was in the elevator in the Cuyahoga County Courthouse for Sam Shepard's first trial, when the judge said to her, that Shepard was guilty & he was going to make sure he was convicted. He was. Shepard spent 9 years in prison until he got a new trial & found Not Guilty. The actual murderer was believed to be a neighbor, that Marilyn Shepard may have been having an affair with.
Kilgallen kept that secret & it was only found out after her death. Her biographer wrote about in his book.
