This former A+ list mostly movie actor who recently lost a huge franchise has hired a PR firm who specializes in bot armies. Anyone who mentions his lawsuit triggers the bots and an avalanche of negative comments about the person he is suing.
Depp's lawsuit against Herd was such a dumb idea. Talk about the Streisand effect - now all his bad actions are back in the news.
Just live off whatever money you have left for 5 or 10 years, and then have an "interesting" comeback doing silver fox roles, Christopher Plummer style.

There is a little thing called "discovery" in which your opponent's lawyers get to examine, under oath, you, your family, your staff, your ex-girlfriends etc re alcohol use, drugs (prescription and non-prescription) use, violence (physical and emotional), any NDA's you've demanded, sealed legal settlements etc. If you are not Mother Teresa don't start lawsuits.
Also J Garner, and Stefani Germanotta quite obviously employ these services. Glad people are learning about it. The more we get away from screens, the better.
I would call it manipulation when someone uses fake people for comments... then, the SAME CELEBRITY heads to Instagram, filters their photo to look 15 yrs younger, puts a fake beach backdrop behind it ( they are actually in a parking lot), and voila. Instant manipulation. I have a relative who thinks Garner "must be a great person; we always see her walking to church". Unbelievable.
