I suppose that permanent A- list singer solo and in a group is going to have to expose the sexuality of her ex if the rumors of annulment are true. It would be the only way it could be accomplished.

Why does she need an annulment? Is she serious with a conservative Catholic?

ReplyDeleteThe Catholic Chirch won’t let you take communion if you remarry after a divorce that is not annulled. Like a horrible money grab. The Eucharist ritual is at the heart of the church service and is important to a lot of people. My bet is that this is why she seeks an anullment. Also it doesn’t means the kids are badtards and the marriage never happened. It means the marriage was entered into in error.

ReplyDeleteIs either Blake/ Gwen religious? And if so, what religion? Unless one is Catholic (I think Gwen may be) or Mormon, no need for an anullment. I think both churches have relaxed their stances on remarriage as well

ReplyDeleteI don’t even think this is really true. My parents got their marriage annulled after 30+ years of marriage. This happened after their legal divorce.
ReplyDeleteGwen is going to saying Gavin lied to her about his sexuality, so she can get the marriage annulled. The marriage will be annulled on grounds of being entered on deception with Gavin never intending to be faithful, which will cost Gwen a pretty penny. This is still my favorite annulment story from The Providence Journal:

Rauch Kennedy, after learning years later that the church had granted her ex-husband an annulment, sought and won an appeal in 2007 from the Vatican that invalidated the annulment.
I never knew you could the Vatican could invalidate an annulment.
If you were married before in the eyes of the Catholic Church you have to get the marriage annulled. It’s a 6 month process otherwise you will not be able to get married in the church.
