Blind Items Revealed #3

March 11, 2019

This A- list mostly television actress from a hit pay cable show quit because she thinks she is a huge movie star in the making. Crickets since she left. Never leave a hit show.

Emmy Rossum/Shameless

  1. She made Cold Pursuit with Liam Neesen since she announced she was leaving.

  2. A film with Liam Neesen? His career is dead

  3. She's still better off than William H. Macy nowadays, unless he snitched on his wife to dodge charges. Shameless? ;)

Do you have to do conjugal visits with your wife when she's in prison?

  5. Hey, back off WHM, I'll take him over 99% of Hollywood pricks any day of the week. As for Emmy, bye-bye career. Not a smart move. I grew tired of her character on Shameless anyway, so it doesn't bother me. Frank is the show.

  6. Remember Enty's "predictions" about other actors who dared to leave their show.

Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey): currently stars on Legion, was the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, had a few other supporting parts in interesting projects like Colossal
Rami Malek (even if it's likely that Mr. Robot was wrapping up anyway): Oscar for Best Actor (while he was still on the show), with a big fat check coming for playing the villain on the next James Bond.

I wonder how outraged would have been Enty when he heard that people like Bruce Willis, George Clooney or Steve Carell were leaving their respective shows to focus on movies.

As other people said in the original blind, Rossum has spent nearly a decade playing the same character, it gets repetitive after a while, and she may want to start a family. Besides, her show is on Showtime, which is notorious for letting shows go stale because they don't allow the writers to let the characters and the situations evolve too much. Dexter, Weeds, and many other shows suffered for this. Watching Shameless at this point is flogging a dead horse.

  7. Wasn't this show coming to an end anyway?

  8. If there was any proof that Macy had signed off on/wired money for a bribe, he would have been charged. It seems Felicity did this on her own.

  9. Jeez thank christmas you weren't in charge of the Watergate investigation, yeah sure he had no idea what was going on.

  11. No the show hasn't ended yet and Ian will be back after getting out of jail.

  12. Macy was either lucky or he was smart enough to be careful with his words.

  13. Macy is a direct descendant of some British Kings and peers. He is never going to have any legal troubles. Huffman descends from similar blue bloods. This scandal is misdirection away from something bigger. The minor nobles like Macy and Huffman and some other actors have been entrusted to play the dupes in this. Keeping it in the families, you see.

  14. She's on her hubs show now, Mr Robot.

She thought she was gonna be a big star before, after she did the day after tomorrow & phantom of the opera, look at how that turned out.

  15. Yes, because spouses never, ever do things behind each other's backs.

And I said there is *no proof that he participated in it* or he would have been charged. Which is very different from saying he did not know about it, although there is no proof of that either at this point.

    Reading *is* fundamental.

  16. Macy was on record for making inquiries on behalf of the second daughter, but they decided against using the services. This tells me he was well aware of the situation, even though Felicity handled it. I would think this scenario is fairly common - a couple discusses, and then one handles (on everything from teacher conferences to landscaping).

Regarding the blind, anyone remember Rory Cochrane? He had a lull after leaving CSI:Miami, and eventually went back to TV for a bit when the money ran low.

The original UK version of the show got 11 years, by focusing on the other characters over time. The US version is just running the characters into the dirt, because they ran out of ideas. I stopped watching because the whole tone of the show is changed, and they're just making me hate characters I liked.

Rossum will be fine. She's young, she's talented, and she's got range, she just hasn't had a chance to show it yet. Doomsayers like Enty will feed off clicks with this kind of gossip forever, but I doubt she or her agents pay any attention to the digital housewives hanging out their laundry and gossiping.

  20. I knew she considered herself some hot shit after demanding to be paid the same as William, like ???? What's funny is that she started all that drama only to leave the show some time after. She's boring and plain, she was never a huge star before Shameless, that show was her peak and she should've known that, that's what so annoying with insufferable celebrities who think they're more than what they're.

  21. Meh, whatever. The American version is shit anyway.
