  2. matt lauer is way too toxic for NBC to take back, it would be a HUGE blow to their ratings - which they saw rise after they got rid of him

  3. I want to bet on Brian Williams with this blind. He has had enough time away for people to give him another chance.

and he didnt rape or sexuall harass anybody! his controversy pre-metoo looks so small in comparison to the disgusting shit thats been revealed about others. dude just needs to remember to NOT EMBELLISH and tell the truth (and dont tell stupid anecdotes)

  5. Most of the established media looks ridiculous after two years of Trump-Russia allegations. Brian didn’t tell the truth? He will fit right in.

  6. Brian Williams already has a show on msnbc. Matt Lauer? Nobody is missing him, big mistake.

  8. I just can't forget Lauer's button under his desk to lock the door. This has got to be Charlie Rose

  9. As much as Brian Williams makes the most sense, I think this is Matt. Weren't there blinds about him still being close with the powers that be, and talk about itching for a comeback? I think they're grossly miscalculating how much he's been missed, but they'll probably roll out the red carpet, take the initial looky-lu curiosity numbers to call it a victory, and he'll be back in the fold. However, I don't see him getting back to Today show anchor...that seems too long and personal of a role now, no one's going to want or trust him in that capacity, I dont think. Perhaps he'd be tolerated as more of a feature story/investigative reporter? Fwiw, I don't notice anyone missing him.

  11. Sorry didn’t see “his”
    Brian Williams
But now I have Fox News on the brain so it could be O’Reilly

  12. Dan Rather is an interesting guess. And Nutty_Flavor... did you read the Mueller report?

  16. Hahahaha, there are so many of them that they could start their own baseball team 🤣

  17. O'Reilly? The Bad Murdoch Son just took over Fox News.

  23. It's like the patriarchy can't help rubbing people's faces in it. That's not a glass ceiling that's hands pushing heads down to laps.

  24. No way will the audience go for Lauer or Rose returning to a mainstream gig. Enough will boycott that their revival will tank.

    Brian Williams is already back.

  25. Ugh. O'Reilly is the most revolting of them all. Dry drunk, arrogant, pretentious. Sexually depraved, abusive wive beater. Have I covered it all?

    ReplyDelete
  26. "Christian" "Catholic" bully, sorry I forgot those.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Charlie Rose he did a round if interviews awhile back. I think that was the test.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Whoever it is you can be sure the network focus grouped the hell out of the idea before doing anything. Its not Lauer. I like the Williams guess because NBC is light on political heavyweights going in to election season.

  29. @GentleBreeze Bill O' Reilly is def a dry drunk. I read he has a show on News Max TV unless Fox aced them out in the 11th hour.
