Blind Item #5

Apparently this foreign born A- list mostly television actor refuses to come out until after a decision is reached about whether he will be cast as the next James Bond.

  1. Richard Madden

and the thing is, if he is gay, wouldn't being James Bond be a great role to act in? you know, being a sophisticated manly man? isn't that what acting is about?

although i just don't see Richard Madden as James Bond.

    1. I would be ALL about a bisexual Bond - double the spies to seduce. Sadly that's too progressive for that franchise.

And I agree about Madden not being right for Bond. While I think Craig was to bulky, Madden strikes me as too slight - maybe his face is just too bony.

  3. Well his secret is already out from the pap pics. Hopefully they'll see how much an audience draw he is, his character on GoT was very popular.

  4. Richard Madden. He looks great in a tux, but I haven't seen him in the Bodyguard to know him as capable of the action aspect.

Raven, you're right, acting, by definition, means stepping outside of who you are, so gay or not shouldn't matter. Should he not get the part, Id like to think it will be bc there's someone better for the role with no blame on this in 2019

  5. Too short, good actor, though. Goran Visnjic perfect James Bond.

    1. Except that whole impregnating someone who wasn't his wife. Then having his wife browbeat the woman to give her the child. Why do you think he doesn't get parts anymore?

  9. But who are they going to choose to be Bond. Please not another old man Pierce Brosnan type. He was such a lame & corny Bond. It was awful watching an old man do action sequences & try to be sexy. At least Daniel Craig was a convincing action star in Casino Royale.

  10. But if this is Madden, wasn't there a blind posted within the last week that said he decided to come out because he didn't get the role?

  12. Aside from the Sean Connery days, Bond is usually a sh!t franchise, he'd be better off not being cast.

  14. Anyone notice that twice in the past week that The Daily Mail has referred to Tom Hiddleston as being in "high spirits"--are they trying to tell us he's literally high? Using?

  15. He'd be a garbage Bond.

If they have to pick someone from GoT, they should go with Dinklege.

  16. +1 Jimbonius, That's the greatest idea I've heard so far. He's got the wit, comic timing and the charm. Plus I've heard so many women claim out loud over the years that they'd f*ck him that you know he'd bring in the female audience. Love it when people combine their virtue signalling with being slutty, it's like the best of both worlds. ;)

  17. He'd be a shit Bond but not because he's a bender. He just does not have the right size/energy for the role.
Also please, no 'bi' Bonds. We see enough of this unrealistic shit in literally every tv/movie these days.

  18. @orangesoda lol like being bi would be the only unrealistic thing about Bond. Everything about Bond, bi or not, is unrealistic.

  19. You all are probably right about Madden. I want Ansel Elgort to play the next Bond. He is so charming and moves so well! Another interesting choice would be Rami Malik.
