If the soon to be divorced/serial cheating executive producer felt he was being extorted by the man accusing him of rape and abuse, then why not go the police or sue for defamation. Crickets.
Sounds like in addition to being a human doormat, Wendy was also enabling a predator/rapist. Also the fact that he appears to like men doesn't help with the Wendy rumors.

Trapped, my guess is money. Why go to police when you can get life changing money? Not condoning the action but how many blinds have we read where ‘victims’ kept mouths shut after a payoff?
