It turns out this former A- list mostly television actress had all the power. The actress, who had a couple of hit shows, but nothing for quite some time was added to the new reboot of one of the hits much to the chagrin of the two people who proposed the idea. They couldn't get a greenlight without our actress though.

Calling a reunion and then cherry picking who is welcome is just rude and drawing more attention to your own immaturity, ya know!? I guess I dont know exact details and some wounds can run deep, but, I d hope coping mechanisms and behaviors have improved since the 90s. Looks like between the producers and Luke Perry passing, it only makes sense for this to happen with her there.
Yaaaa. Shannon is the only one from the original show with any acting talent anyway.

ReplyDeleteWhat hit show has Shannon had since Charmed? She was pretty much labeled difficult and un-castable. She did the BH 90210 first reboot and then what? She played a MOM in Heathers. I don't think her 'hits' made her the deciding factor. I think everyone wants to see Brenda run amok in BH90210 or what is the point? She was so hated and spiteful and her storylines generated such strong emotion from fans. Everyone wants to see Kelly and her go tete a tete, not bringing Tiffany Thiessen back.
