The club consists of four actresses that I know of. There could be a couple more that I haven't heard about, but it is a pretty tough club to get into and the dues are high. Not high in the sense that it costs a lot financially, but it does take a high toll on relationships and your ability to connect with an audience. They had other issues too, but he just couldn't move past it.

You got it with the trans kids. So the question is, is this just for a support group,or is there an agenda? Why such a high percentage of A list actresses that know the kid is truly trans? In general population, it is fairly rare. I have a trans family member, it isn't something to be taken lightly. But now it seems like every time a boy tries on a dress or a girl likes trucks,they are ready to be put on hormone therapy. This blind was triggered by the arguing in a previous blind, please don't feed into it. We don't know whether these kids are being used or are truly trans,so don't make them victims twice.

I think it's a metaphorical club as in if you have a 'subject kid' then you're probably in and then a generalization of how each of these parents should act. I guess could be adopted black kid 'club' or transgender or gender neutral kid 'club' although I'm leaning towards the gender neutral club. More of a 'I'm so Woke' mother club and probably a better description.

Also: there aren't *more* trans people, it's not a contagion. More people simply feel emboldened to say things out loud that they used to just keep in their heads. This is part of an enlightened society: people have more time and liberty to ruminate on their identities and their direction (both as individuals and communities) and refine themselves accordingly. Check out Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. The tippy-top of the pyramid is "Self-Actualization" and this is what it looks like.
