Blind Item #12

After the horrific bomb of a movie that was just released, it is interesting that the A list actress with the Oscar win/nomination isn't getting any blame, but just her foreign born co-star who is suddenly not on anyone's casting list.

  5. @Tricia...both got horrific reviews, and on that level, both are bombs, but The Hustle is doing better. I wonder if Keaton is using her standing in the biz to keep those kind of Older Lady from lesser powered women like Weaver

    2. You are probably right. She’s shifty that one.. (do appreciate her work though I haven’t caught “POMS” lol). Shes come far fro “Reds” with her Beatty lover man-or even Somethings Gotta Give. She was terrific and it was an endearing film

  7. Sorry to hear that The Hustle got bad reviews. I love "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and was really looking forward to the remake.

There, I corrected it for ya.
Diane is not an anomaly. Far from it.

  10. I can’t stand Diane Keaton & would celebrate if she dropped dead, but that aside, wouldn’t Diane Keaton be described as permanent A list?

  11. OMG, I saw Poms on Wednesday!! LOL it was exactly how you think it would be, pretty funny, but all fluff. Definitely not an Oscar winner, but heartwarming.

  12. @nuttyflavor - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was awesome. As soon as I saw the previews for this abomination in the theater I knew it would be a bomb. Are you kidding me??? Rebel wilson??? Would have been better casting with Hathaway in Steve Martin role and then some hotter/sophisticated older actress in the Michael Caine role(Beckinsdale, Diaz, Weisz, Gugino).

  13. I'm pretty sure Enty wants this to be The Hustle, but yeah, it's not bombing hard. Rebel Wilson also has three more films scheduled for this year, so I think she'll be okay.

  14. The Hustle was entertaining in a sea of super hero and “creepy scary” movies. I saw it, laughed, admired Anne’s wardrobe and smokin bod.

  15. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is such a hilarious movie. I have no interest in seeing it remade, I'll just watch the original.

  16. The Hustle looks terrible. Those that have had to watch it as part of their job have been fairly unanimous. 'Tired remake, not funny, painful accents' are the bits I remember. I think I'll give it a miss. Even the promotional clips make me wince.

Hopefully it is Charlize and her gaslighting on a 3 y/o's gender identity. And, Seth Rogen.

But, given how the most recent on entertainment news is The Hustle.....

  19. dirty rotten scoundrels was perfection, so why mess with perfection?

Because you're talentless, unimaginative, woke as fuck and want to show the world that 'girls rule'.
Well losers, all you did was that girls failed this time.

See remake of ghostbusters and Oceans.

  20. Anne Hathaway's horrible fake accent made it impossible for me to even make it passed the Hustle trailer
