This is the second time at least that this permanent A list celebrity has requested his coming out be removed from an interview. One was on television and one was in a magazine.

The only people I can think of who allegedly came out early on in their career (then went back into the closet) are nowhere near permanent A-list. Tom Hardy allegedly did it. I guess he could be considered A-list, but permanent? No way! I also heard that Sam Heughan used to be out before his career took off.
DiCaprio (who one could argue is permanent A-list) said something along the lines of, 'I haven't really found myself as a sexual being, I'm still exloring myself' when he was very young and got asked a pretty suggestive question in an interview. But I don't think that counts as a coming out. Much too vague. Plus, after years of blinds about him being gay, Enty seems to have changed his mind and decided that he's straight. Alrighty then.
And there's no way in hell that people like Cruise, Travolta or Clooney ever even hinted at being gay.
As a celebrity even though it doesn't say foreign born maybe Christiano Ronaldo? It's definitely not an actor because it says "celebrity". So all non-acting entertainment genres like athlete, comedian, musician etc.
Cristiano Ronaldo comes from a catholic background if I remember correctly. And soccer is a very macho sport. Players don't come out until after retirement.
Maybe that's why he asked for it to be removed? We've known he's closeted for years, the general public doesn't (I think). He came out and had second thoughts because his image is a soccer superstar stud and almost the most popular in the world today?
Did the person come out deliberately and then retract it? Come out accidentally? Or did the interviewer bring it up and the celeb asked to have it removed?
@sandybrook: I read on an old website that he had an open affair with a South African player when the World Cup was played there. The same commenter said "If you ask him in person, he will tell you he is." I have personal knowledge that a woman (beard/friend) found Gay porn on his phone. He wants to come out.
I'd say it's a reference to Clooney, but really, there are several that it's always swirling around. It's just he's been in the news since the Archie was born and Enty likes to "Theme" the blinds.
But when guessing here you sometimes need to dismiss the X-List thing, Enty is all over the place with the designations of celebs. One time they are A-List, one time A- list, then back to A-List. Best example is JLaw, she goes from plain A-List, to A List A- List, from blind to blind.
This is my measure of of celeb status. If you do something in your private life that starts to show up in USA Today and Time, like a baby, engagement, etc, your A-List, if not more. Those mainstream pubs don't don't bother with anyone below A-List.
