While filming overseas, this A-/B+ list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee has made not just fans in this country mad with his lies about why he can't take photos with them, but also ticking off his much more famous co-stars who think he is being awful. Apparently that guy who is by his side every second of the day and night is really nice though.

I think enty should distinguish between nominees and winners instead of just using the slash... Enty should say winner OR nominee not both. I’m addit I’m sick of the constant change in enty ratings. One day someone is c list the next they are a— it’s annoying as all fuck.

ReplyDelete@TwoDots,maybe the whole identity is a lie. She had some great stories to tell,and some of us played along, but I remember her turning on people suddenly,including @Tricia13, without reason . But a good troll would erase their identity if they killed off the character.

ReplyDeleteI've just looked at some of her posts on DListed and two stood out to me: the first mentions Fidel Castro - according to her daughter on here, Boo had an affair with Castro and apparently he wanted to marry her.
The second mentions a Lakota medicine man - remember, she would write here about the medicine man and what he would tell her?
Without wanting to sound like a dick, how do we know who the real boo hearne and what happened to her, if anything?

ReplyDeleteNo she pretended she died ,most likely she posed as her daughter to give us the news of her "passing". She always had great stories and it makes no sense to play dead unless she was being harassed or got fearful for some reason.Her stories both here and on Dlist are all the same vein.She even comments she was attacked on CDan when Bourdain hung himself/murdered.I loved her stories but I really did not believe she died.

Literally none of her predictions came to pass, remember the A list couple that both had HIV and one was going to announce it? When did that happen? Her track record is worse than Enty's.

In case anyone thinks this is fake Boo,Disqus shows comments from years ago. She told the tale about her dentist telling her Kevin Spacey,her favorite actor,molested his son. Among other stories we heard here.

ReplyDeleteShe had a lot of stories, and some that didn't jibe, like living in a scary tenement in NYC. But then her daughter says she was married to a French journalist...
The story about Fidel didn't jibe however. There was a blond woman who was Fidel's gf, but that was back in the 50s or 60s, too early for Boo's age.

I tried to sign into that site to call Boo out just to see if she would acknowledge anything I said. Unfortunately I couldn't get in. It kept saying my email was already used in an account yet it wouldn't send me a link to get my PW. Oh well. I really am disgusted by what Boo did. No doubt she posted as her daughter then came in to read all our comments on how sad we were. Freak.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Fascinated by the Boo Hearne story! After initial surprise (GREAT find, TwoDots!), Im thinking perhaps the daughter just got bored and started posting with her mom's tag? She'd know the stories, but the nagging question with any of the options is, WHY? Hopefully, just combo of novelty and boredom. Super creepy if it is some other poster taking on the identity. Before I continue with my skepticism, didn't a couple of people say they read an obit in papers?
ReplyDeleteWhy bother to fake death, when she could just change IDs (as Im pretty sure she had many times, including simultaneously!)? I hate to think that someone would fake death and, essentially, give self a fake online funeral by having a fake daughter bring us the news. That would be a whole level of bizarre attention seeking I can't fathom. And, perhaps, she's been here all along under a different name? I have no clue why she would bother to post under identity she had killed off, knowing these two sites have always shared viewer overlap. It can start to make YOU crazy to try to make sense of possibilities.
I certainly don't want to abandon anonymous posting, but it would be nice if there was a way to restrict to one username/site. It would help to rachet down on some of the insanity. I have a hard enough time keeping my passwords straight, cant imagine juggling multiple identities,too! It will be interesting to see "her" progress, or if she just fades away again.
@Vita: This is really sick, no matter how you look at it. If she faked her death, if her daughter is posting as her, or if another poster is posting as her.

Back in the day, wasnt she the beachy Cali name and and the one that reminded me of a Jedi Master 's name but was just a clever spelling of a phrase? Maybe another one was related to a past address in Manhattan?

Boo Hearn is Rachewbacca, who posted above. Was Racharound before that. Had a couple other takes on "Rach" before that. She would post under one name, flip the fuck out on someone/everyone, then make up a new name and repeat the process. Not from Manhattan, or anywhere else in the US. I laffed when her "daughter" was on here admonishing posters for not mourning Boo sufficiently.

I knew something was up with all of his weird awkward behavior in countless interviews where you can tell he's not being himself. I just don't understand why they so desperately need THIS GUY in particular "to happen?" His mom has that much power on Wall Street???
