Your Turn

Best Keanu Reeves movie.

  1. The Matrix. He was great, the story line was great, the other actors were great, the effects were great- just. Wow.

But I'll always choose Bill & Ted to watch- lighthearted comedy with lots of pretty colors is my jam.

  2. The man cannot act, but seems like a decent guy. Dont ruin it for me Enty.

  3. Speed for me, but it's probably not his best movie.

  4. He seems to have the same character every movie IMO, but he's devilishly handsome and appears kind. So I'll watch anything he's in.

  5. The one that I’m gonna make with him.

  6. My Own Private Idaho. I got my tickets for John Wick 3, seeing it Friday and cannot wait!

  7. 100% Speed. Terrible acting, wonderful eye candy. He was at his hottest.

  8. The Replacements.

    Falco forever!

  9. Rivers Edge was a great performance by him.
Bill and Ted was great. Speed was awesome. And the Matrix was a new type of sci-fi. The man could have gone the Tom Cruise, and Will Smith route, but he smartly changes it up.

  10. Bill and Ted. Can't act to save his life, but still I love him in every movie he does. A very endearing young man.

  11. Keanu is best in The Matrix. He is not a great actor,so he needs these trappings. I like him as much as anyone, but put him in a movie he needs to act in, it's actually embarrassing to watch. Opposite with RDJ,I wish he would act more in real movies. I also don't know why no question like this for Doris Day,Tom Conway, Peggy Lipton? All you young folk look them up on your You Tube.

Keanu is hot hot hot. I like him better as he ages.

    Point Break was good too.

  15. My favorite Keanu line from The River's Edge: "All you do is fuck our mom and eat our food...motherfucker! Food eater!"

    1. He was on Johnny Carson a few decades ago and the joke was that the quotes that Johnny liked from the movie, Keanu could not repeat on the air
Do you think I can find that clip?!

  16. Keanu was SO embarrassing in Dracula. His British accent, roflmao! I LOVED the movie though, also had Gary Oldman and my other fave Cary Elwes.

  18. Speed. I went with my man and the adrenaline rush from that night led to a memorable romp. And I didn't think of Keanu once. (I'm lying.)

  19. My favorite Keanu line from Parenthood: ""You know, Mrs. Buckman, you need a license to buy a dog. You need a license to drive a car. Hell, you even need a license to catch a fish. But they'll let any butt-reaming asshole to be a father."

  20. I liked him in Dangerous Liasions(course I’m partial to that film). He was soooo beautiful and sweet

    ReplyDelete
  21. The Wick movies. He does not talk much in them.

  22. oh, yes, i didn't put Dangerous Liasons bc he had a really small part, and, yes, he was beautiful and sweet

  26. Not his best movie, but my favourite (for sentimental reasons) is probably Speed.

  27. River's Edge.
I would have totally shared that sleeping bag with him back then💖

  28. The Matrix, rewatched that many times.

  29. One of the few actors we root for rather than laugh at performances.

    ReplyDelete
  30. For sentimental reasons, Speed. It was the movie that introduced me to Keanu. Then I went back and watched all his movies, including a little known film called "Prince of Pennsylvania". I love John Wick too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Bill & Ted. I am actually excited for the third installment!

  32. Parenthood and Point Break, always felt there was a lot going on under the surface with him.

  37. Here goes...

    47 Ronin

    Johnny Mnemonic

    Knock Knock

but the Matrix movies and John Wick rock too. I love all his movies and will be a fan of his for life. He's a great guy. Did anyone see him on Colbert?

  38. John Wick, Replacements. Can't wait for John Wick 3.

  39. Speed. 47 Ronin, Constantine, and of course John Wick.

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Lake House.

But now that CDAN has mentioned him, I'm nervous it means there are blinds coming, which I'd be pretty gutted to hear. I'd like him to be the nice guy he seems.

  41. I love me some Bill and Ted's (only the first one), but - although not exactly a "Keanu Reeves movie" - Parenthood is one of my all time faves.

  42. Embarrassed to say ive never seen The Matrix movies

Dangerous Liaisons is an emotionally brutal masterpiece.
Speed is a great suspense movie, and he's great in it...who wouldn't want THAT GUY strolling into your worst day? Or any day?😉

Off topic, slightly...he was on Stephen Colbert the other night, and at the end of the interview, Stephen kind of sharply changed gears and asked something along the lines of, "What do you believe happens after you die?" He paused for a moment, then said, "I know that the people who love you miss you very much." It rendered Colbert speechless, and all he could do was shake his hand. Perfect Essence-of-Keanu answer. Probably the ONLY answer to that question that could be universally agreed upon, yet probably not the perspective from which most would answer. Not always the most chatty guy/actor, but he does convey an earnest likeability.

  43. THANK YOU Hunny Bunny! I was starting to think I was the only person in the history of ever that loved 47 Ronin!
