Blind Item #10

This permanent A list mostly movie actor who is an Oscar nominee/winner owns a distillery as part of a LLC he established about a decade or so ago. The liquor produced by the distillery is not doing well against one of the most established names in that type of liquor. which distributes all over the world and to the country next door. Our actor had several of his employees go to work for the well established rival and randomly put poison in the barrels of liquor. They did so and now people are dying. He is hoping the liquor company will have its reputation ruined and he can swoop in.

  3. If you really have this info then why are you going to the fbi or whoever. Are we all now accomplices?

  4. Wow! This sounds a little over the top for belief, but, agreed, it sounds like it's meant to be Clooney.

  5. And Beyonce was there with James Dean.

  6. That seems pretty extreme, there's bad liquor all over place nowadays anyway.

  7. If Enty knows, the authorities know, trust on this. I'm sure that's how he found out in the first place

  8. Not buying this one.

  9. @Natalie, you must not be aware of how this site works

  10. Sounds very plausible. These people could have indeed died if they all drank the same poisoned alcohol.

    ReplyDelete
  11. This probably the DR. Mexico had several cases of tourists dying from wood alcohol. The bartenders were putting rubbing alcohol in the booze at all inclusive resorts. This would make more sense if it was a rival resort, or country, because I'm off the idea of the Dominican Republic.
Who else owns a liquor company? Clooney sold his. Dan Aykroyd has a vodka company, Crystal Skull or something.

  12. Omg, seriously. Clooney has that 'guy next door' appeal on screen supposedly and yet he is in a bearded fake relationship with prop kids he never sees all in order to run as a politician some day and now this with the tequila company. Plus all his shady gay stuff like the accident in Italy. These blinds plus the transgender your kids club for Hollywood highbrau mommies makes me want to vomit. I live here and work in the biz but am still shocked by the level of soul-selling depravity that goes on.

    1. But RR and HJ would be foreign born, right? And idk about Hugh, but Ryan has never won or been nominated for an Oscar, I don't think.

I guess we should count out Ron Burgundy Scotch. It's real, but it doesn't come from Whore Island like he said in the movie.

  16. @Tricia, I think Matthew just has an endorsement deal with Wild Turkey. I don't think he owns anything.

  17. It says country next door. So either it's Mexico, or Dominican Republic.
Like I said, there's been deaths in Mexican resorts, but DR is big in the news.
I think it's Sean Penn. He lived Haiti after the 2010 earthquake working relief. So that is "a decade or so ago." Plus Haiti is falling apart now, not unlike Venezuela.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sounds like a bunch of bull. But just in case Enty, can you at least reveal the type of liquor so I can stay away from it on my next trip to the DR?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dan Aykroyd started up Crystal Head Vodka about a decade ago.

    ReplyDelete
  20. While we're talking about the DR. I'm looking forward to/waiting for, a blind about who shot David Ortiz. They say the hitman was a cop. Who would take out Papi? That would be like shooting Bob Marley's band, oh wait.

    ReplyDelete

I have connections to the liquor industry. I know for a fact Casamigos is doing well. Crystal Head is not. This is Dan Aykroyd, not Clooney

    ReplyDelete
  22. Does anyone own a rum company? I mean DR is more rum than vodka, tequila, gin, etc. It is garbage. Also, this doesn't add up, people would not JUST BE SICK IN THE D.R. I caught montezuma's revenge there back in 2003 and cannot believe people go there.

    ReplyDelete
  23. oh yeah, kill the competition's customers. sure, that will work! nobody will ever know! my employees would never rat me out! they'd never extort me! it's a perfect plan!!

this blind is a load of pure horse shit. way too many of the blinds are these days.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @nancer: With you on the horse shit call here.

And it wouldn’t even make sense for Dan Akroyd in DR. They’re not known for their vodka. Neither is Mexico. And while Canada has some very good vodkas, none is an industry leader that I can think of.

Sounds like the story is supposed to be about Casamigos and Mexico, but their biggest US exports by volume are way down market from Casamigos competitors. And to get the best stuff, you’ve gotta buy in Mexico anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Uh you better reveal this one NOW

    ReplyDelete
  26. So the takeaway from this is maybe, maybe, maybe Dan Ackroyd is making his own ghosts to bust, money coming and going.👻👻👻👻👻👻👻💀

  27. The Dominican Rebuplic deaths are thought to be from some sort of poison or toxin. The poor victims all shared the same symptoms - They think it might be from pesticides sprayed just prior to death in the area though.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Haiti is literally next door to the Dominican Republic

    ReplyDelete
  29. The blind says that liquor brand is owned by an llc started by the actor. The LLC doesn’t have to be open about their ownership. i.e. actor’s ownership is undisclosed.
I think this is Sean Penn and a rum produced in Haiti.
There have also been deaths in Fiji that are similar to DR deaths which would rule out pesticide spraying...especially since symptoms are not those usually associated with organophosphate (pesticides) poisoning.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This is made-up like all the other 'murder blinds.'

    ReplyDelete
  31. I thought Clooney sold the business & made a killing....no pun intended. What happened in the DR is certainly suspicious, though.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Notable that the earthquake in Haiti was 9 1/2 years ago...
LLC was set up about a ‘decade’ ago.
    This is Penn.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @MeticusBee Rumour has it that the 2 deaths in Fiji were from Ebola. There's a huge, uncontrolled outbreak in the Congo. Check out Florida Maquis on Youtube. That is the worst case scenario. And it's not the only case.

I wondered if the deaths in the DR were related, but it sounds like poison/pesticide. There have been other deaths of tourist in the past in places like Thailand, in Phuket. Pesticide in drink containers (two Canadian sisters), and two NYC sisters last year in the south pacific I think. The Mexican cartels have targeted tourist spots in the past to destabilize their economy and government.

  34. Akroyd is A+List? An Academy Award winner nominee?

  36. Based upon the info, i think sean penn, Haiti/DR is the most likely guess. His life seems to wander into lots of blurred lines. This is creepy as shit, and hoping not true.

As far as poor David Ortiz, I read that they believe it was a paid hit put out by a politician who believed he'd been flirting with/having affair with his wife. That hit in such a crowded spot was terrifying and insane.

    ReplyDelete

    1. +1 Vita. Think the country next door is the big clue. Deaths in Dominican Relublic, which is next door to Haiti. They share the same island. So if Haiti, it is Penn.

  37. Do you think they murdered Burt Reynolds?

    ReplyDelete
  38. It’s Clooney. He and Rande Gerber (and another partner) founded Casamigos Tequila in 2013. They sold it to Diageo in 2017 but stayed on with the company. It was sold for $700 Million plus up to another $300 Million based on the brands performance over following decade. Their Distillery is in Jalisco, Mexico outside of Guadalajara.
Their biggest competition would be Jose Cuervo. Cuervo’s distillery is in Tequila, Mexico, also just outside of Guadalajara and a stones throw away from Jalisco. Would be easy to send employees from one to the other.
    Neighboring country is the US
Some people will do anything for money. Guess the $700 Million wasn’t enough (if this is true).
However, Clooney will never go down for this IMO

    ReplyDelete
  39. Plus the distillery Crystal Head is made at is owned by the Newfoundland and Labrador liquor board, not by Aykroyd. They just contract production to it.

    ReplyDelete
  40. This is not a thing that happened.

  41. Any celeb whisky owners? I read that in at least a few cases in DR,the deaths came after drinking whiskey out of a mini bar in the room. I was thinking to myself that it would be very hard for some local yoko to poison those as they are sealed. This blind makes sense for a few reasons...whiskey has a barrel component and the mini-bar bottles being sealed means contamination happened wherever it's bottled.

    1. @sandy2319: It’s a bit like the old adage about animals: if you want to know the character of a person, watch how they treat animals.

Sadly, that seems also to apply to porn stars and sex workers. I’ll bet they’ve got the most interesting stories.

I mean, two came out of the woodwork after a former hookup became president. You’d think that would be the category most likely to play it close to the vest, but no.

Aw, okay, waiting to be accused of TDS again. It’s not like it’s my fault the newspapers report disproportionately on POTUS’s peccadillos. I’m just a regular newspaper reading liberal, folks. Like, newspapers all over the world. I read broadly.

  55. Press X to doubt on this whole BI, but I've been all over Central and South America and frankly NOTHING you could tell me would surprise me.
Last time, (the very last time ever), I was in the DR was only a 2 day thing on my way elsewhere. If you are going for business, I get it, but otherwise, you should NOT be there.
About 80% of the DR is some shit hole variant, from Omg red alert to mildly shit hole. The other 20% is resorts and very rich people. Resorts, no matter how luxe, still require you to get there via taxi or car service that can be very sketch and traveling off the resort is pretty stupid. Several days a week, there will be a huge influx of Haitians in the commercial areas near the Haitian border. DON'T GO THERE.
    SERIOUSLY, DON'T.
That said, I don't find the DR to be quite as bad as Columbia,(hello, we've come to kidnap you. You will be robbed, possibly raped/beheaded, who can say?), Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil, vast portions of Mexico, etc., see Columbia.
I personally know someone who was kidnapped in Columbia, while visiting Columbian family there, and their car was riddled with hundreds of bullets. Seriously, just don't.
I would add that Jamaica and various other islands are somewhat the same, to varying degrees.
If you love beaches so much, go to Hawaii. Or fucking Florida.
You might meet with foul play, but the drug cartels don't fully control the entirety of either state and the vast majority of people speak English. For now, anyway.

  56. Just saw on Twitter that Enty said it's NOT who we are mostly guessing, which is Clooney. So who is the other actor?

I have a list of celebrities who have Tequila companies and the only other actor is Dwayne, 'the Rock' Johnson and I don't see him doing something like this. He's genuinely a good guy. I know Timberlake has a company, but he's not an A list actor, unless I missed the part where he became A list?

Bruce Willis, Danny Devito and Dan Ackroyd also have alcohol companies, but I just can't fathom any of those guys being behind this...

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a liquor company too, but not sure who is getting it in the divorce.

I'm at a loss if it's not Clooney.
