I hate this sort of sabotaging. If Kim, he certainly is aware of all that she's been through in life. Perhaps dont provide a glowing recommendation if asked, but blackballing is just low and unnecessary in most circumstances.
Kathy does not seem to have a reverse gear. Sometimes you need one. Or at least, let the engine idle.
When her lack of judgment (people can disagree on how serious or well or ill intended) blew up on her, and a tear filled apology fell flat, she lashed out at everyone around her. She lashed out at both Andy Cs, like they owed her money.
She had a very rough year that year, but, someone in her life desperately needed to shake her by the shoulder and say "QUIT." "Just go lay up somewhere, then come back like nothing happened."
Hoisted by her own petard. And yes, people in those social circles have long memories.

Kathy Griffin can blame her own mouth for her troubles. I don't like Trump either, but that beheading photo was uncalled for and sucked up way too much oxygen in the media. Besides, she's back to selling out her shows, so wtf is she complaining about?
Yes without the vile things she decides to turn into jokes Kathy has ZERO material or schtick. I don't love Andy and everyone has a right to the good and bad in their lives but how can she think she can use serious things against folks and then be welcomed back into the fold. Sure SHE has plenty of skeletons. I find her incredibly UN funny. Her stand up consists of Kardashian and other bashing, like commentary instead of well thought out jokes of timing, substance, real observation. I kinda NEVER understood why she even had a career. She was the born (gay lo?) man's Joan Rivers who started it all!

Kathy was part of a comedy troupe and taught classes at its Melrose Avenue hub decades ago.
Her standup dissing celebs began and evolved at The Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd. She had a regular gig there.
Then she got her reality series on Bravo. That's when her standup took off and her tours became much more lucrative.
She also became friends with quite a few A listers during her series and afterward. She became besties with Anderson Cooper and Gloria Vanderbilt.
So yeah she's a standup but she also worked as an actress.
