This entitled A- list dual threat actress is already telling producers of her network television show that she won't be showing up for any table reads this season and if they have a problem with it to fire her. She does know of course that no one is going to want to hire her if she keeps this up. The producers of her last movie want nothing to do with her either.

ReplyDeleteGenerally actors sign a seven year contract when they are cast in a TV series. This ensures that they are available when a series is renewed. However, this also means that if an actress suddenly becomes successful in movies, that they will not be available to accept movie roles because they are committed to spending most of the year doing the TV series. Hence they may try to get the producers to release them from their TV contract by engaging in costly on set bad behavior.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Constance Wu is. Not only does She see Herself as an A List Actress but most importantly She sees Herself as an White A List Actress. And while Hollywood is slowly diversifying. Still at the end of the day Hollywood is still always going to want a White Actress over Her - for the most part. And that's the problem with Constance, is that She keeps on acting like She has all these White Actress Opportunities when the truth is She probably doesn't and will soon find that out once Fresh Off The Boat ends.
