Blind Item #9

To the people who got close to the diminutive A list mostly movie actor, all they could keep mentioning was his extensive use of fillers.

As in fillers that go in the bottom of his boots to make him appear to be as tall as 5' 9".

  6. I guess Kevin Hart really will end up looking like Snowball the bunny at one point.

Buuuuut this is likely Tom Cruise.

  7. Richard Dreyfuss?

  8. Peter Dinklage? He's an awesome actor. Loved him in The Station Agent.

Cruise. His face is so distorted he doesn't look like his younger self any more.

  11. FYI: It’s a sad day around here when we are picking on Martin Short. ( totally kidding- I know this is absolutely Mickey Rooney).

  12. He should have stayed with Kidman. They could get volume discounts.

  15. I'm thinking Peter Dinklage.

  16. And my first thoughts on hearing 'diminutive'? Seth Green and Dinklage. HOW could I forget about Cruise!?

  18. Jesus take the wheel.
I saw him re-creating his character from top gun, the part w the motorcycle-
And it's LITERALLY A REMAKE, at 60yrs old he's playing a young badass?
fuckme, talk about zero self awareness.
My family under strict orders to shoot me the day I start doing dumb shit like I'm still young.

  19. I'd class Tom Cruise as perm A+

  20. @ Rosie the Riveter if you watch the trailer you get that his recreating or never growing up IS THE POINT. He is a dying breed. A "Maverick" literally in an era of new technology etc. He isn't playing a young bada$$ but a hotshot who got in his own way, never changed, stalled in his career, but is still unpredictable and ballsy as a veteran slash dinosaur. I think in some ways it was great to show Maverick never changing yet the TIMES changing and it dictating his trajectory since the first movie.

  21. and lifts if cruise.

  22. Tom is perm A+, definitely. He is one of the few actual movie stars left in Hollywood.

Tom looks like he has had some work done, but, it does not nearly as bad as Nicole Kidman and her lesbian partner, Keith.

  23. So who is going to play Iceman and Goose?

  24. @samantha, he’s no Val Kilmer, but he’s got the big teeth and blonde hair - Gary busey’s kid. Plus he’s not some young kid so as to make Tom cruise’s presence in the movie ridiculous (unless he’s an instructor - I admit to not having seen the trailer).

  25. Also, my husband has advised that goose is dead.

  26. Cruise has been overdoing the filers the last coupple of years and looking poufy/lumpy. He shoulda aged gracefully and let the creases add character to his ccharcters. Men can do that and look great. But cruise is A+ in my book.

Val kilmer is supposed to be in top gun. With his health issues he’s looking very very soft/ lumpy/puffy/ filled in. Hope it’s not him

  27. Tom Cruise looks extremely puffy (a la Madonna puffy) to me. Cannot imagine it looks better in real life and up close.

  28. Lol it’s Tom Thumb

  29. I recall hearing a disc jockey wondering how he stayed so young looking. Now I know. How do fillers work...like glue?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I forgot to leave my kids a 'shoot my if...' document. but one of them did advise me against matching tops to bottoms...you know, like in JCP. So tempting though !

  31. Kevin Hart? I wouldn't call Cruise diminutive or A list. He's perm A+.

I don't think this one is Tom Cruise due to the rating. This could be a dozen actors. Maybe Jonah Hill due to weight loss? Although diminutive would indicate smaller than 5'7" which is Hill's listed height. IDK...maybe old school like Pacino or DeNiro or Dreyfuss or Hoffman.

  33. Have seen TC in person more than once. I'd guess 5'3" Drew. You have to subtract the lifts.

  34. I want to add - I don't think it matters how tall someone is or is not and it sure hasn't hurt his career.

I once saw him and NK together too, and she towered over him. She is very long and narrow. He is built smallish but well proportioned.

  35. Not a single ‘Dustin Hoffman’ guess?

  36. Yes! Tiny Tom busted back to A. He's gross.
