Agreed. And yet...many, many of us have a parent who died in a horrific & tragic way, leaving major emotional damage. Not everyone turns to drugs. I do have a healthy amount of compassion for addicts, however, as they use to try & cope with the pain.
The HIMMMMs did a long blind on Pete and Kate. Pete is a manipulative POS. But I have a feeling he is being outed and will have a hard time acquiring his next mark.
Yeah Pete with the dating Ariana then Kate Beckinsale BS but honestly FALLON became more famous than he should be. Dude is like ADHD host with the giggles and wandering eyes and SO BAD.
There was some minor scandal two nights ago about a set Pete Davidson did in a college, where he called some students who were using their phones during his set "privileged little assholes". As it's brought Davidson into the limelight, somebody has just made an educated guess that it was because he was on drugs.
Remember that, according to this blog, Davidson was knocking on heaven's door approximately twice a week, and that he had been fired from SNL. Well, it may not have been entirely true.
Imagine your dad walking out the door and never coming home because hes not alive. Its a pain that cant be verbalized. And people want you to move on. Theres nothing that can make it better for Pete. He is afraid to love people because its too frightening to make yourself vulnerable to that pain again. Just be kind to him. Hes much worse on himself than you could ever say.

His dad died in 9/11 so I'll cut him some slack. Being able to still see humour in the world after that is kind of impressive.
