I went to private school with Kiefer and his sister in the early 80s and there were rumblings that he was drinking then too. About twenty years after that I ran into him at an Elephant and Castle restaurant and even though he didnt remember me (as I was quite a few years younger than him) but he and I proceeded to drink our faces off (I stopped counting after round 16) he taught me to flick a cigarette in my mouth by always aiming for the tip of my nose. Worked every time. This man is an olympic level drinker.

Keifer and his band were the headliners (as far as I'm concerned because I'm really not a Sum 41 fan) for the Strangers In The Night gala in Montreal. Suddenly the lineup was changed in the commercials and then I hear about a broken rib.
Kiefer is hilarious when partying. My friend was in a strip club restroom (in a tiny town in Texas) at a urinal with his back to the door. Kiefer walks in, starts pissing and says "I hear Kiefer Sutherland is out there." Without turning around, my friend says "well let's go stomp his ass, then". They proceeded to get completely obliterated together: Kiefer dropped tons of money on dancers all night and got everyone coked out. My friend said he was completely unpredictable and literally did whatever whim that came to his mind IMMEDIATELY without consideration. It was fun at first but started getting crazy, and it basically made everyone around him have a hard time relaxing.

Yeah it's prob Kiefer. Just after commenting here, I saw a story about his drinking somewhere else, a lot of the blinds are stories currently out.
