Blind Item #17 - Emmy Awards

There is an actress who is probably B list. Maybe B+ list. Hit network show, but she is a supporting character on the show. On Thursday she received an invitation to a party that was held last night. She asked her publicist about it and the publicist had never heard of it, but would check into it. Turns out our actress was not supposed to get the invitation. It was supposed to go to someone who had a one off appearance on the show. The party, which was held in two connected suites at the Intercontinental downtown last night was for studio and network executives and young desperate actresses. From what the publicist could gather, the ratio is about 10 women for every guy.

  2. So are we talking key bowl or just straight up orgy? Glad to hear those acting lessons really paid off for those young ladies.

  8. Could have been 10 men for every 1 desperate young actress. So, small mercies and that.

The people who don’t see anything wrong with this are the same kind of people who didn’t think much of Jacko sleeping with little boys.

  11. Love CDAN and totally hate post-award show blinds. They are never not boring af. AND there are just so many of them.
    SO. MAAAANNYYYYYYY. BORING. BLINDS.
I've never read an award-related blind and been like "Well NOW I am very curious about (the equivalent of) vanilla soy lattes."
    Never.
    Not one time.
Because it's all fake and whatever.

  12. @Nancy, What's Nebraska really like? I've never been and only known people that passed through briefly. I'm genuinely curious.

  13. @Brayson87 Ha! Um, oddly enough I can't really think of a way to answer this question. Omaha is actually pretty decent, I've never been to Lincoln (weird), and it doesn't really have much between Omaha and Colorado, unless you're a rancher. It IS the first place I ever heard the "N" word in casual conversation or noticed American Indians in an urban setting.
And Keno; Nebraskans seem to love it.
