This A+ list comedy showrunner claims to be a champion of diversity, but has "let go" of all three diversity hire writers who have walked through the door on his show. For the upcoming final season, his room is mostly white and male.
Don't really care who it is, but is Enty saying he's supporting the practice of "diversity hires"---useless tokenism that makes a small population of imbeciles--some of whom have influence---happy ?
As opposed getting the best writing and best final product out ?

I think the point is that the showrunner has blathered on forever about wokeness over reality....but really is just as not woke as anyone. It isn't a judgement about his decision to hire/keep writers who are funny regardless of their race/gender/politics...but about the fact that he was pretending he would do otherwise.
The main offense of all this SJW PC-ness is not the base belief...but the pretentious posers.
Disney abc is really on the warpath about this. If the black irish little mermaid fails, they will call their own audience racist! Thats where this forced pc stuff ends, alienating their own audience at the altar of woke. ..go broke at your own danger
I think about the famous black mystery writer walter mosley, who got kicked out/fired from the writers room for recounting a story he experienced with a black police office...and he said the n word...like recounting the story...

I can think of probably ten to fifteen disney network kids better for little mermaid. Disney is a joke! Star wars is failing and now they have to bring back live action golden oldies movies to balance the bottom line and extend copyrights forever
Bullshit, GenZ. Women generally just aren't as funny as men, for one and there are plenty of black male comedians. These guys likely got fired because they just couldn't do their jobs as well as someone else.
