Blind Item #2

This alliterate former actress earned herself $250K by having a 30 minute lunch with a group of people who each paid 5 figures to attend.

  2. JUST lunch? Where can i sign?

  3. I don’t understand how she should even be allowed to earn money when her entire life is funded by taxpayers. Every penny of that $250,000 should go back the citizens of the UK. The royal family are just fancy benefit scroungers and it’s disgraceful.

For that much money for 30 mins what does she do, fart royal gold dust on your plate?

  5. What really needs to be out is the money from H&M for the baby ads.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Adding insult, she ate everyone else's food.

  7. What a larp. Royal families thinking they are Gods chosen people to lead. It could all change if people decided to take action. I guess the people would rather have their cake.

  8. Knowing Fat Markle it had to be a buffet...

  10. Yeah, ong indeed.

Tell you what, every time she flies around the world to watch tennis I can just fuckin' FEEL the planet getting healthier.

  11. This isn't even the worst of it.

Meghan, Harry, and her son Archie appeared in an H&M ad yesterday.

"A Royal Baby First," says the ad copy. "Archie Mountbatten Windsor wears H&M Baby."

You can read more on my blog, where we are discussing the ad.

Your post says "It certainly is a first for the Royal Family, who are generally not celebrity endorsers" thats not true. Fergie and Diana endorsed Disney & their parks. Diana even took baby Harry there and called a bunch of photographers while still married to Charles. Fergie exited a plane covered in Disney merch. The Queen has been the main spokesperson for Land Rover for years.

    2. H+M's gone and removed the Archie photo and replaced it with a completely unrelated one.
Seems like they broke a rule (listed on royal website), that no photos of royals under 18 can be used for making money.

  12. How is Harry so daft as to allow this cash grab!

  16. There were the yachting rumors where she was paid to do who knows what, being paid just to have lunch is progress. And I'm sure she was happy to show off her new baby to everyone, right? I swear I've never seen anyone run so fast from a new baby since prom night.

    ReplyDelete
  17. jesus lol u think she will yacht while married to harry? maybe she will get diana'd

  18. My first thought was Lori L crowd sourcing for legal bills, the rich and famous way.

  20. As a UK taxpayer, good luck to her earning coin. Unlike the rest of the leaching crowd.

This is American capitalism at its best.

  23. Lauren, it pains me to say she is doing her best.

But spelling and grammar to Rosie are like dignified behavior to Fat Markle. Neither grasp even basics.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yeah but Brayson maybe at this lunch she ate salad if you know what I mean.

The whole RF is a bunch of leech nazi simpatizers who have no use. Yeah they help bring money in from tourism but they spend more than they bring. They bank the lifestyle of Princess Michael of Kent who has to be the most deplorable royal in the UK after Andy. If MM is a social climber taking advantage of them that's some well deserved karma.

But this got me thinking... What if she and Harry & MM continued as a members of the RF, but were completely financially independent? Yes, being spokespeople for brands, at least they wouldnt be dependent on public money. They might just be able to flip the narative and become respected members. That'd be marketing and PR genious! Besides, Harry never liked the restrains of being royal, and in that way he can make more choices when it comes to his personal life, since he wont have the old toothless fraus shouting at him and his wife about their life choices.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm starting ti think that harry has been cut off. there is no other explanation for his pathetic and laughably thirsty, celebrity-obsessed behaviour.

    ReplyDelete
  27. First step in Fat Markle and Fifty Percent "making it on their own" would be taking away all their houses and cars and jets and servants and clothing allowances and club memberships and bank accounts.

Get back to me when we've seen some progress on that front.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Yeah, I gotta go with J on this one.

Not only are the Sussexes still being paid, fed, clothed, and housed by the British taxpayers, but they're currently on a taxpayer-funded Royal Tour of Africa.

The photo was taken during the tour.

It's like getting your photo endorsing Pepsi taken at your desk at the offices of Coca-Cola.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Was there any SALAD TOSSING?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I'm flattered. : )

    ReplyDelete
  31. @J, I'd pay five figures for that lunch, she has the experience. ;)

  32. Rosemary, the Queen does not appear in advertisements for Land Rover.

You are correct that the Royal Family does drive Land Rovers and is frequently photographed in them, however. (Land Rover quickly delivered a new vehicle to 97-year-old Philip shortly after he smashed up the last one.)

But you don't see ads where QEII is photographed saying, "Whether on my way to a coronation or a meeting with a horse trainer, I rely on Land Rover."

Harry, Meg, and Archie appeared in an unabashed ad.

Whats the difference? They're gladly fattening their pockets while taking taxpayer money. Fergie and Diana did it waaaaaaay more shamelessly and didn't get the same backlash and that was in the 80's! Somehow people are more conservative now? Nobody has a problem with Phillip being a open racist, Princess Michael being a bigger nazi supporter than Hugo Boss to this day, Andrew being a pedophile, and Fergie turning tricks and trying to get under-the-table money from millionaires who want to hang out with her ex-hubby. Y'all didnt care this much when all that happen 😪

  33. As for Fergie, she hasn't been a working royal for more than 20 years.

    ReplyDelete
  34. "The Queen has been the main spokesperson for Land Rover for years."

are you fucking retarded or something?
Do you even realise just how low that IQ of yours has to be to believe something this stupid and actually write it down on a public forum?

    ReplyDelete
  35. The Queen would never endorse such an unreliable vehicle.

    ReplyDelete
  36. They'll never cut Henry off, he's got to know enough royal dirt to make their lives very uncomfortable. What they might do is send him on a drive through France but that's a different strategy.

  37. Anyone else seen this in the Telegraph newspaper? about VERY rich businessman Harry Sargeant III & a lawsuit about a sextape 🤔😏 no idea who the woman is but google him & have a read - any thoughts on who the woman might be .....😏 shhh, is this THE sextape we've been hearing whispers about? .....

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yippee! Enty tee-d up MM in a blind. Always enjoy scrolling the comments on that subject, and the crew did not disappoint!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Fergie absolutely got the same backlash, she was all over the tabloids. There simply wasn't any internet at that time. If you read the British tabloids, or the American rag press, they were all hammering her. .

The "racist" defense is tired and baseless. The MM backlash is because of her behavior and attitude. Period.

  40. Harry appears to be struggling with clinical depression.

He told an African student the other day that "he often woke up and felt overwhelmed by too many problems in the world and that sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed in the mornings because of all the issues."

And according to a Royal reporter who accompanied him in Botswana yesterday: "Prince Harry to his Botswanan hosts: 'Everything is good in the world - apart from us humans'. He said it three times."

He's also been poorly groomed for parts of the trip, with shaggy hair, rumpled clothing, and at least one appearance without underwear.

Connect the dots. You don't need a drive through Paris.

Hopefully a different and happier future can be arranged.

Oh course MM. @Nutty Brits on news sites are not taking the news very well. Both about the luncheon and using Archie for ads.

  43. What sort of idiots would pay for Markle's company? She is seriously dim, just about able to spout her dreary "empowerment" script. She looks horrible close up, covered in fake tan and bronzer. Her only value is as Harry's wife, but the Royal family despises her and she has NO influence with anyone.

    ReplyDelete
  44. How awesome would it be if they locked her up in the Tower of London? Now that would bring in the tourists. They definitely can't kill her, they can only play that card so many times before even the dumbest peasant catches on.

  45. The BRF already have a legal framework for purposeful brand endorsements.

Prince Harry does not have the legal authority to agree to brand endorsements. He especially does not have the moral authority as a paid for royal. The problem is that there is a loophole: it is not enforceable. Prince Harry is showing that he feels that the laws and the Queen have no power over him. The definition of anarchy, or it is treason via depression or self-centredness. The problem is that the Queen represents stability. And stability on the world scene is good for everyone.

The Royal Warrant: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Warrant_of_Appointment_(United_Kingdom) . “The warrant enables the supplier to advertise the fact that they supply to the royal family, so lending prestige to the brand and/or supplier. In the United Kingdom, grants are currently made by the three most senior members of the British royal family [the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales].…”

  48. I have to say I really love Nutty's blog for all things Meghan Markle. The commenters are all highly reasonable people with different opinions and solid reasons to back them up.

Great discussion happening over there. Better than Harry Markle or Jersey Deanne where nobody really talks about anything. Skippy is good too but she is determined to believe Harry isn't in on it which... remains an open question for some.

There are a great many of us captivated by the WTFery of the entire Sussex situation. That baby did not appear to be super familiar with either H or M - also - H&M?! You can't write this stuff.

@Hunter I love Nutty's blog too but for some reason it's software doesn't work well with my new browser. After taking the time to compose a lengthy comment it never appears which gets frustrating. I know Nutty also uses Blogger but Enty's site works and hers doesn't. Today my first post here had an "oops". So Blogger works but just barely.

  53. The Queen and the other Royals promote British products. She regularly uses a Bentley, and Land Rovers. Other Royals have used Jaguars, and Aston Martins, all British car manufacturers *until Jaguar was sold to the Chinese*.

They wear British brands, promote British products and British tradesmen.

    It's their frigging job.

However, they cannot get paid for appearing in adverts. Their whole life is one big product placement. LOL

  54. Just a quick note to apologize to everyone who has had trouble posting comments on my blog - I know how frustrating that is, because it's happened to me as well.

I've changed the comment format to echo Enty's now, so hopefully things will run more smoothly.

Still no ads, however. I just do it as a hobby.

  57. @Gia it's either a case of "what royal family can't prove they can't be mad at" or the royal family does the same but they are more secretive about it and Meghan just doesn't care to hide anymore
