Lil Nas X. HIV is a manageable condition now...a far cry from the days when we witnessed our friends and peers turn into skeletons and die before our eyes in a matter of months. I think he is a one hit wonder though. Neither the hip-hop nor the country communities are going to accept an openly gay black man into their ranks. If he opens up about it which I would not blame him if he didn't, but if he did it could be an incredible educational moment for the young gay black men on the DL community. We are losing another generation of both white and men of color to the PNP culture also. Tragic.
I actually liked that Old Town Road song, even though I’m nowhere near the target audience. Ha! I hope that Lil Nas X (these names, though) isn’t a one hit wonder. He has a unique voice and style that’s much needed in music in these desperate times.

Joel Schumacher recently turned 80 and said in an interview that the number of men he's had sex with is in the double digits thousands, possibly as many as around 20,000.
To have started being sexually active long before AIDS awareness and safe sex and have made it to 80 in good health is quite something. Maybe doctors should study him.
Some people on twitter were aghast at the 20,000 figure. There's no shame in sleeping around. Batman & Robin on the other hand.....
@Hamid, 10%-15% of northern Europeans have a genetic resistance to HIV that makes them essentially immune from acquiring it, so he probably cannot catch it.

And you also know that the majority of HIV+ persons are junkies and not gay men, right? It's fucking idiotic to say that every gay Man is a whore and at huge risk of HIV+ because of his sexual orientation. Sorry but gay rights get me worked up and lately on this site I've seen a lot of hateful comments on LGBT folks that I just can't tolerate because they go waaaaay beyond simple opinions. @Nonya Bidness, so according to the forefront of homosexuality in California it is barely a legal crime to have unprotected sex with someone without telling them you are HIV positive and certainly not a moral issue BUT it is the worst thing ever to point out that a person is HIV+? Really?
People are guessing a promiscuous gay man because - guess what? - promiscuous gay men are the most likely to get HIV. Them and junkies. My only doubt is that this little nas whatever is A+. Never heard of him or the other guy you've all guessed.
